Before the partyHere are some considerations to ensure the protection of your staff at a Christmas event: • Send a friendly staff email where you outline what is acceptable and unacceptable• Refer to relevant policies• Emphasise restraint with alcohol

At the party• Ensure alcohol is served responsibly• Ensure plenty of food and non-

alcoholic drinks are available to everyone

• Hold the party away from the office if possible

Make sure you have policies in place covering: • Harassment (including sexual harassment)• Workplace health and

safety• Responsible provision of alcohol
