Richard R. Frank is the President and CEO of Guidestone™. A Cleveland area native, growing up in Rocky River, Ohio, Rich attended and graduated from St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio and Hillsdale College in Michigan. After starting work at Guidestone in 1978, Rich earned an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and became a CPA. Rich’s first position was Business Manager and throughout his 30+ years he has overseen many of the agency’s departments, staff and key executive responsibilities. Rich was instru- mental in growing Guidestone from a small Residential Treatment Center to one of Ohio’s largest Behavioral and Mental Health Organizations for Families and Children. Rich is also very active in the community serving as a former President of the Alliance for Child Caring Service Providers, member of the Strongsville Rotary and a coach for softball, basketball and soccer. Rich and his wife, Mary-Alice Frank (CEO of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the American Red Cross) have two children and live in Strongsville, Ohio. Richard R. A Cleveland area native, growing up in Rocky River, Ohio,
Rich attended and graduated from St. Edward High School
in Lakewood, Ohio and Hillsdale College in Michigan. After
starting work at Guidestone in 1978, Rich earned an MBA
from Baldwin Wallace College and became a CPA. Rich’s

David S. Zentkovich is Chairperson of the Guidestone™
Board of Directors.
A Cleveland Native, Dave is a graduate from St. Edward
High School and the Cleveland State University, where is
earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He
is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Cleveland,
Ohio and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), as well as a
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), with more than 20 years of
experience in financial and strategic planning.
Actively involved in the community, Dave has served on sev-
eral boards of local non-profit organizations. He is also a
committed member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Strongsville, Ohio.
In 2006, Dave joined the Guidestone’ Board of Directors. He has been actively involved, serving on the
finance, pension and audit committees, before being elected Treasurer in 2008. In October 2010, Dave
was unanimously voted to become the next Chairman of the agency’s Board of Directors. Currently, he
serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and as Chairperson of the Executive Committee.
Dave lives in Columbia Station, Ohio and enjoys running, traveling, home improvement projects and
spending time with his family.

Donna M. Keegan, MA, LSW is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Guidestone™.
Donna received a Bachelor of the Arts (Cum Laude) in Psychology from Kent State University and a Master
of the Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Donna began her service to
Guidestone as a high school student volunteering in our on grounds school. In 1980, after receiving
her post-secondary education, she began working full time for Guidestone as a Residential Treatment
Center Treatment Specialist. Since then, Donna has held many noteworthy roles at Guidestone includ-
ing Residential Treatment Center Cottage Manager, Director of Quality Management and Training, and
HIPAA Privacy Officer. Donna is committed to the continued development of mission-driven, high-quality
programming to meet the needs of Guidestone’s diverse client populations.
Actively involved in the community, Donna is a member of many mental health and human services com-
mittees including: the Ohio Association of Child Care Agencies’ Children’s Behavioral Health Committee;
the Ohio Department of Mental Health Seclusion/Restraint Task Force; the Cuyahoga County Community
Mental Health Board Compliance Committee; and the Council of Agency Directors’ Standards Review
Committee.

Druann K. Whitaker, MS, LSW, LPC, CNM is Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Guidestone™.
Dru received her Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare from The Ohio State University, her Master of
Science in Counseling from the University of Dayton, and her Certificate in Nonprofit Management from
Case Western Reserve University.
Throughout her 33 year career in behavioral and mental health services, Dru has held many noteworthy
roles including Protective Services Case Worker for Putnam County Department of Human Services; Intake
Supervisor for Hillside Cottages Residential Treatment Center; Case Manager for Ohio Youth Advocate
Program and Division Director, Vice President of Program Services, Senior Vice President of Treatment
Services, Chief Operating Officer and President and Chief Executive Officer for Specialized Alternatives
for Families and Youth of America, Inc. (SAFY). Dru brings her wealth of expertise to Guidestone and is an
integral part of our agency’s operational and strategic planning.
Among her many other accomplishments, in 2011 Dru received the Foster Family-Based Treatment
Association’s first annual Board Leadership Award. Actively involved in the community, Dru has served
as board president for the Foster Family-Based Treatment Association, board member for the Ohio
Association of Child Caring Agencies and on the Alliance for Children and Families Strategic Planning
Committee. She currently serves as a board trustee for the Council on Accreditation.
Dru and her husband, Gary, currently live in Celina, Ohio.

Benjamin W. Kearney, Ph.D. is Vice President and Chief
Clinical Officer at Guidestone™.
Ben received his Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College
and his doctorate from Cleveland State University. He also
completed post-doctoral work in psycho-pharmacology at
Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale-Davie,
Florida. In 1993, Ben began working for Guidestone as a
ProKids & Families program case manager. Since then, Ben
has held many noteworthy roles at Guidestone including
Home-Based Family Treatment therapist and supervisor,
and Assistant Director and Director of Central Intake and
Assessment. He is also a licensed Psychologist and a Professional Clinical Counselor. Ben has been instru-
mental in advocating for our clients’ behavioral and mental health concerns, and he has provided a multi-
tude of trainings on child and adolescent behavioral and mental health related topics to raise awareness
and understanding on a local and state level.
Among his many other accomplishments, in 2004 he received the Cleveland State University College of
Education Distinguished Alumni Award, and in 2005, at the request of the Ohio Department of Mental
Health and Ohio’s Voices for Children, he published “Helping Ohio’s Children: Understanding the Impact
of Early Childhood Mental Health Services,” an analysis of the strengths and challenges in Ohio’s early
child mental health system. Actively involved in the community, Ben is an adjunct professor at Cleveland
State University and serves as a mental health consultant for both private and community mental health
agencies throughout Ohio and Michigan.
Ben lives in Elyria, Ohio and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, and his two dogs.

Alex S. Petrus, CFRE is the Vice President of Advancement
of Guidestone™.
Alex received a Bachelor of the Arts from Cleveland State
University and a Master of Science in Social Administration
from Case Western Reserve University. Alex began his
fundraising career at Guidestone as Assistant Director of
Development and Public Relations. He then went on to
gain experience as the Director of Development for the
Diocesan Education Office of the Diocese of Cleveland
and the Director of Development for the Case Western
Reserve University Alumni Association. In 1999, he returned
to Guidestone as Vice President of Advancement, bringing with him a wealth of expertise which has
helped him raise millions of dollars for our agency.
Among his many other accomplishments, in 1991 Alex received Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE)
status, and in 2003, he was selected as the Fundraiser of the Year by the United Methodist Association.
Actively involved in the community, Alex is a board member for the Cleveland Better Business Bureau,
and a member of the Cleveland Estate Planning Council and the Ohio Planned Giving Council.
Alex and his wife of 30 years, Lisa, live in Olmsted Falls and have two children, John and Liz, both attend-
ing The Ohio State University.

Joseph R. Ziegler, M.B.A. is Vice President of Finance and Administration of Guidestone™ Organization.
Joe received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University and his Master’s degree
in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College. Since 1989, Joe has held many noteworthy
roles at Guidestone including Accounting Manager, Director of Specialized Community Services and
Director of Communications. Joe has been instrumental in ensuring Guidestone accountability and integ-
rity with all ethical, fiscal, clinical, legal and client care issues.
Among his many other accomplishments, in 2003 Joe was named the National Public Relations/
Development/Marketing Director of the Year for The United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare
Ministries. Actively involved in the community, Joe is a member of The Greater Cleveland Chapter of the
Public Relations Society of America, the Financial Management Association for Non-Profits, the Berea
Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus.
Joe and his wife, Cathy, live in Garfield Heights, Ohio along with their three children Joey, Katie and Emily.
