Richard Allen Cultural Center and Museum fea-tures artifacts from the Buffalo Soldiers and ruins of Bethel AME Church Underground Rail-road Site along with memorabilia belonging to notable African-American figures such as Gen-eral Colin Powell. We also showcase bronze statues of Buffalo Soldiers and an exclusive Black Dignity photo gallery, known as the Ever-hard Collection, dating back to the late 1800s.
Guided tours of sites connected to the history of the Underground Railroad in Leavenworth are available as well as of the Buffalo Soldier Monu-ment located on Fort Leavenworth.
