Over the last six months two successful attempts have impacted practices:

1)Email scam – invitation to invest (deposit funds)

2)Email scam – email of adviser hacked and invitation to invest is made (client believing that the adviser sent the email)

Potential impact is significant if multiple clients invest and adviser is found to be negligent (or not taken reasonable steps)
