1 0 F U N FA C T S A B O U T R H O N D A

1. I assisted on photographing my first wedding when I was only 15 years old.

2. I have traveled around the world, and my favourite places were, Tanzania Africa and Northern India.

3. I am the seventh out of eight children from my father who was 22 years older than my mother and fought in World War 2 for Canada in the Canadian Air Force.

4. I bought my very own wedding dress for $29 at a thrift store and got it altered before I was even engaged.

5. We got engaged a few months after I bought my dress in a field full of poppies in the hills of Tuscany, Italy, and it was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen (and I wish I had hired a photographer to capture it).

6. I believe clients last a life time and I adore all of my clients who come back to me for maternity sessions, newborn sessions, and family portraits. I love watching their children grow up.

7. I love sign language.

8. My fiancé was also a professional photographer for 8 years and was featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, in 2009, with one of the top 10 images of the year of Janet Jackson. He now owns and runs Doi Chaang Coffee Company with his father.

9. I was runner up in the Miss BC contest 2002, but lost due to the fact I was moving to LA the next day to work on a new TV Pilot for ABC.

10. My favourite part about weddings is the speeches as I learn a history on my clients in 30 mins or less and I love to laugh and cry with a room full of strangers.

Engagement sessions are the best way for us to get to know each other. It’s a chance for you to see how I work as a photographer and understand what to expect on your wedding day. Engagement sessions are fun and relaxing and will help you become more comfortable being in front of the camera—allowing for an excellent wedding day.

AT T I R E

This is a great opportunity to show your per-sonalities and style. It is important that you look and feel your best (see next page for wardrobe ideas).

L O C AT I O N

Whether it’s where you first met, your favourite neighbourhood, or romantic spot—choosing a location can be simple with my help.

T I M I N G

Some of the best times of day to have your ses-sion can be around sunrise or sunset for ideal lighting. However, session times can vary due to scheduling. You should plan on being ready an hour before the session. This will ensure we have plenty of time to get to the location and start shooting. Sessions usually last between 1-2 hours.


W H AT D O E S N ’ TW H AT W O R K S

I recommend that couples wear outfits that look flattering on your body type and appropriate for the location.

Clothing choices can be fun and should reflect individual personality.

I suggest that you wear complimentary colours and patterns.

L A D I E S

Ladies, I recommend wearing a pretty dress or skirt with a cute top and perhaps a cardigan if it’s chilly. I love fun accessories and great shoes. Heels naturally make legs look more defined and flattering and since it’s not often that you get to have your photo taken it’s fun to wear something feminine and flirty!

G E N T L E M E N

Gentlemen, I recommend jeans or a current, stylish pant paired with a great shirt that reflects your personality. Long sleeve button-up shirts always look great and sleeves can be rolled up to make them look more ca-sual. Choose a complimentary T-shirt for underneath the button up , or a sweater to go overtop. Keep in mind clothing should match the season in which it’s being photographed.

Avoid loud patterns or large logos as they are distracting and take away from the mood.

Solid colours work great—pick a base colour and choose one or two accent colours. Please co-ordinate your colour palette with your fiancé.

I highly recommend experiment-ing with some colours and or soft beautiful neutral tones to help you get better results.

W E D D I N G A L B U M These gorgeous custom made wedding albums are a beautiful way to show off your wedding day, and they also make fabulous keep sake.

Albums orders can take up to 6-8 weeks for design and delivery.

The 8 x 12 size can be designed either vertically or horizontally and additional pages can be added at $10 per page.

Custom sizing can be ordered upon request.

Two 6 x 9 parent albums can be added to your package for an additional $399.

I will help you create a photography timeline to help the day go as smoothly as possible. I encourage couples to make a list of absolute must have shots.

As long as preparations have been made, your weddingsession should be smooth sailing! Don’t forget you’re in the hands of a professional and I will be there every step of the way to ensure you are happy with the final product.

I T ’ S A W R A P

I know you are excited to see your photos and I am even more excited to show you the final product. Delivery time will vary based on the month of your wedding. Weddings between November and May can expect their photos within 3-6 weeks. As June through October is our busy season, delivery times will be within 6-8 weeks.
