Limited Warranty InformationAll of our Rheem package units were developed with reliabilityand durability in mind. The Copeland® Compliant Scroll®

Compressor features a five-year limited warranty on all models. Inaddition, 14 SEER models feature a ten-year limited warranty (sin-gle-phase residential installations only). The Factory Standard HeatExchanger is backed by a ten-year limited warranty. A StainlessSteel Heat Exchanger on a single-phase model installed in a resi-dential application features a limited lifetime warranty. A twenty-year limited warranty is offered on Stainless Steel HeatExchangers on single and three-phase models installed in commer-cial applications. The condenser and evaporator coils are warrantedfor five years against leaks caused by factory defects. All otherparts have a limited warranty of one year for one and three-phasemodels installed in commercial applications, and five years for sin-gle-phase models installed in residential applications.

The Features You Want1. The Copeland® Scroll® Compressor.All of our residential package units – regardless of efficiency level –feature the Copeland Compliant Scroll Compressor. The scroll com-pressor uses a more advanced technology than traditional recipro-cating compressors. They have fewer moving parts, and they arequieter, more efficient, and longer lasting. In addition, 5 ton modelsfeature the Copeland Scroll UltraTechTM 2-Stage compressor withComfortAlertTM system diagnostics.

2. Durable Cabinet with Louvered Condenser Compartment.Our cabinets have a powder painted finish that protects them fromthe harshest weather extremes. And our louvered condenser com-partment is the best in the industry for protecting the condenser coilagainst yard hazards and weather extremes.

3. Grille/Fan Motor Mount. Our motor mount helps protect thefan motor from the elements for longer life. Its design dependabilityhelps reduce vibration and noise.

4. Furnace Compartment. Located inside the easily accessiblefurnace compartment is the control box, draft inducer motor, in-shotgas burners, the gas valve and manifold. Control box operationalcontrols are “up front” for quick access and service diagnostics.The draft inducer motor is specially designed to quietly providecombustion air while simultaneously venting outdoors the combus-tion products from the furnace heat exchanger. In addition to thedraft inducer motor, the in-shot gas burners, gas valve and manifoldefficiently regulate the flow of gas for combustion. These newgas/electric units also feature direct-spark ignition and remote flamesensors for added dependability and efficiency.

5. Matched Blower/Evaporator Coil Unit. The blower isresponsible for the flow of air into your ductwork. It has beendesigned to match the MultiFlex® evaporator coil and other systemcomponents for maximum efficiency and quiet operation. In addi-tion, the coil features rifled copper tubing and enhanced fins forimproved efficiency.

6. Tubular Heat Exchanger. Our new package gas electric unitsfeature a tubular heat exchanger design. Tubular heat exchangersare more efficient and durable than older-style clamshell heatexchangers. The factory standard heat exchanger is backed by a tenyear limited warranty.
