We climb even higher

Having reached the top, there is a sky way “plateau””

The railway cuts into the hill opposite.

that tumble deep into the gorge far below.

At the moment the falls are a trickle

But they are ferocious during the “wet” !

The water is held back by

a dam at the top of the falls.

We take off again across the terrain,

heading over the Rainforest

that lies deep below us.

Kuranda is seen over in the distance

The Skyrail crosses the Barron River.

At the end of the day we return to Cairns
