The history of carsbegan in 1769, with the creation of steam engine cars capable of human transport .The first cars powered by an internal combustion engine running of fuel gas appeared.

Cars powered by electric power appeared at the turn of the 20th century, but disappeared from use until the turn of the 21st century.The need to reduce air pollution has rised new interest in electric and hybrid vehicles now.

German engineer Karl Benz isregarded a the inventor of the modern cars andReceived a German patent in 1886.
