31 Rezoning Report Burrard Gateway Project March 13, 2013 Revision 03 – Ground Plane & Parking Entrances Through the advice of MMM Group transportation engineers & the City’s Engineering Department, revisions were made to the parking levels and Ground floor to optimize traffic patterns and circulation of cars, trucks, bikes & pedestrians. It was also decided that Hornby would be the preferred place for a new crossing rather than Burrard which has significantly higher traffic loads. Thus the Porte cochere that was once next to Tower B has been moved to the underside of Tower A&C. Here the pedestrian space has been widened to accommodate lay-bys for passenger drop of to both commercial and residential lobbies.
