2. Reservation Rules and other important points
The course of study for B.Sc. Nursing shall be opened to both male and female candidates. The percentage of female candidates shall not fall below 50% of the total seats.
The provision of reservation is applicable for all colleges i.e. Govt. nursing college Jaipur,
Govt(self-financed) nursing colleges, PPP Mode and Private nursing colleges. The reservation
seats will be subject to statutory provisions enacted by State of Rajasthan.
A. 15% of the total seats will be filled up by the candidates on all India basis inclusive of
Rajasthan and 16%, 12%, 21%, 5% & 10% of 15% will be reserved for SC, ST, OBC-NCL,
candidates will be given reservation as per Order of Government of Rajasthan.12% ST quota will be
further divided in ST and STA Sub quota and out of 12% of ST seats 45% will be allotted to
Schedule Tribal Area (STA) Candidates.
C. If seats of reserve category of female candidate remain vacant due to non-availability then that seat will be transferred to male candidate of the same category. Further if male and female both are not available in any of reserved category then the seat will be automatically transferred to the open for all category.
D. 5% seats out of each category of 16% (SC), 12% (ST), 21% (OBC-NCL), 5% (MBC-NCL), 10% (EWS) and remaining unreserved category shall be further reserved on merit-cum-priority in each category horizontally for candidates with benchmark disabilities in accordance with the provisions of the right of person with Disability Act 2016.
The counselling for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Course Session 2019-20 will be done as per
the orders of Government of Rajasthan.
Candidates seeking benefit of reservation shall be required to produce the caste certificate (SC, ST, OBC-NCL, MBC-NCL, EWS) and the additional category certificate (PH) issued by the competent authority for verification at the time of reporting to the allotted college and must submit attested copies of the above documents.
A candidate desirous of admission will have to deposit the medical fitness certificate
at the time of reporting to the allotted college on the prescribed form certificated by
a medical officer of the Government of Rajasthan as per the medical standards.
In case of tie position following steps will be taken to resolve:-
a. One who has passed the 10+2 examination in less number of attempts will be given
preference.
b. If there is further tie, the relative merit will be decided by the age of the candidates. The
candidate of higher age (older candidate) will be placed on higher merit.
c. If there is further tie, candidate securing more marks in Secondary examination or its
equivalent examination will be given preference.
d. If there is further tie, candidate securing more marks in Senior Secondary examination or
its equivalent examination will be given preference.
3. TENTATIVE SEATS
Admission in the allotted college will be made only after receiving permission of statutory
bodies for the academic session 2019-20.
In the Government colleges (including self-financed) 100% seats (of the sanctioned intake),
Jhalawar Nursing College, NH 12, Kota Road, Patan, Jhalawar out of 100 seats 58 seats and in
private nursing colleges 50% (seats of the sanctioned intake) shall be filled through Counselling
Board for Admission in Nursing Courses 2019-20 (RUHS). 50% seats of the total seats will be
filled by female candidates in all categories. In case non availability of female candidates, such seats
shall be filled by male candidates of same category.
The tentative number of seats in affiliated colleges in Rajasthan shall be notified at RUHS
website (www.ruhsraj.org) the exact number of seats in each college will be finalized before
online counselling /allotment and updated on the website of RUHS.
4. Admission/Counselling Procedure
Candidates are advised in their own interest to secure information regarding the admission from the authorized website of RUHS (www.ruhsraj.org) The non- receipt of communication to the candidate from Chairman, Counselling board (admission board) for the academic session 2019-20will not be accepted as a ground for not submitting the Option form or non-reporting in the allotted institute on the scheduled time and date.
Based on the tie breaking rule, a merit list will be prepared using the score of online admission examination. Based on this merit list, category of the candidate, seat matrix & seat allotment rules provided by RUHS and choices filled by candidate, seat allotment will be made in two rounds. Steps and rules of seat allotment rounds will be as follows:
Step1: First Round - Choice Filling
Candidates who have appeared in the online entrance exam will be eligible for filling choices.
Candidates will login with their previous login credentials (Provided at the time of application form filling) where they will find ‘Download Challan’ and ‘Challan Entry/Upload’ buttons.
Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs 10,000 to participate in the counselling process, for which:-
o they will have to download the challan by clicking on the ‘Download Challan’ button,
o deposit amount of Rs. 10,000/- at any branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce, o Login again and click on ‘Challan Entry/Upload’ button and enter:
Fee Deposition Date, Branch Name, Branch Code, Bank Transaction Id, written by Bank Officer on Challan
o Now, upload the scanned copy of challan on the portal by clicking on ‘Upload Challan’ button.
After successful upload of Fee Challan, candidate will be able to see the ‘Manage choices’ button.
By clicking ‘Manage Choices’ button, candidates will be able to fill as many choices as he/she desires (College & Course) from the available choice list. They will be able to add/delete/rearrange the choices any number of times till the last date/time. The choices will be auto locked on the last date/time of choice filling. Final Print out of locked choices will be enabled only after last date/time of choice filling.
Step2: First Round- Seat Allotment
Seat allotment will be made based on merit list, category of the candidate, seat matrix & seat allotment rules provided by RUHS and choices filled by candidate.
Candidate can view/print their allotment result by clicking on Seat Allotment Result button in their login.
Institute can also view/print List of candidates allotted to them through a login on the portal provided to them.
Step3: First Round- Reporting
The candidates will report to the allotted institute in the given time duration along with all the required applicable documents as mentioned below:
Valid Identity Card
Original Challan Rs. 10,000/- (College/RUHS copy)
Provisional Allotment Letter
Caste Category Certificate (OBC/MBC (NCL) Certificate should not be more than one year old)
EWS certificate
PWD Certificate (PH)
10th Board Mark sheet& Certificate
12th Board Mark sheet& Certificate
Domicile Certificate
Medical Fitness Certificate
Migration Certificate
At the time of reporting, document verification will be done by the college reporting Officer (Principal) and suitable entries will be made on the portal through his/her login for each candidate.
Only after successful Reporting and Joining at the Allotted College, candidate may
change his Willingness to Participate in Second Round upgradation (upward
movement). By default, Willingness to participate in second round is YES, i.e. if the
candidate doesn’t exercise this option, he/she will automatically be considered for
upgradation (upward movement) in the second round as per his/her choices and merit.
If the candidate doesn’t want to participate in second round and keep remaining in the
first round allotted college, he/she must change the Willingness to Participate in
Second Round to NO. This option will be enabled only after successfully Reporting and
Joining at the allotted college and will be available till 22-12-2019 Midnight.
If the candidate gives Willingness to Participate in Second Round as YES and gets
allotted a different seat in Second Round, his/her seat allotted (and Reported) in the
first round will be cancelled.
Reported and Surrender : A candidate who has Reported and Joined successfully earlier but now do not wish to continue with that seat may appear before the Reporting Officer (Principal) again for surrendering the allotted seat till last date/time of Reporting. Such candidates will not be eligible for second round.
Step 4: Second Round – Seat Allotment
Second Round of Seat Allotment will be made for following candidates:
Candidates who filled choices, but were not allotted any seat in first round.
Candidates who were allotted seat in first round, reported at allotted college successfully and opted to participate in second round
Candidates who were allotted seat in first round, reported at allotted college but their documents were not verified due to some mismatch, AND the Counselling Board for Admission in Nursing Courses 2019-20 (CBANC) RUHS recommended for their participation in second round.
Step 5: Second Round – Reporting
The candidates will report to the allotted institute in the given time duration along with all required documents as mentioned in the Information Booklet.
At the time of reporting, document verification will be done by the college reporting Officer and suitable entries will be made on the portal through his/her login for each candidate.
5. Other Important Points
Principal of allotted colleges is required to check the documents and other required certificates with original. If the admission is granted, the amount would not be returned/refunded under any circumstances. The original documents will be returned by the respective college after the university enrolment has been done.
In any circumstances the principal refuse to return or transfer the deposit fee and the original documents to the reshuffled student or college, the counselling board would recommended to the RUHS, State Government or Indian Nursing Council for necessary action against that college.
Counselling Challan:
The challan amount of Rs.10,000/- will be adjusted against Tuition Fee of the allotted college.
The challan amount of Rs.10,000/- will be refunded to: o Those candidates who have not been allotted any college (choices exhausted). o Those candidates who got seat in Government College of Nursing, Jaipur and
have Reported and Joined the College.
If a seat is allotted to a candidate and he/she doesn’t Report to the allotted college, his/her Fee of Rs 10,000 will be forfeited.
Reporting is Compulsory:
If a candidate is allotted a seat in the First Round and he/she doesn’t report and join IN
PERSON at the allotted college as per schedule, his/her seat will be cancelled and
he/she will not be eligible for Second Round of Seat Allotment. In the same manner, if a
seat is allotted to the candidate in second round and he/she doesn’t report and join IN
PERSON at the allotted college, his/her seat will be cancelled.
The admissions shall be treated as provisional subject to the final decision of any pending case(s) in any court of law, if applicable to these admissions. Further, the provisional status of admission shall stand final only after enrolment by the RUHS. The decision of the admission board shall be final and binding to all.
All the judgments relevant to these admissions, passed by any Hon’ble court of justice as well as rules existing at the time of making admissions will be applicable on these admissions and the candidates will have to abide compulsorily with such judgments, rules and the changes.
The Jurisdiction of the court cases will be at Jaipur.
