Museum Curation, Preservation and Exhibition
Through a collaborative effort, a team of UGA graduate students
successfully designed, curated and planned an exhibit for the Georgia
Museum of Art. The exhibition featured ten dresses from the 20th century, showcasing changes in silhouette over a period of 100
years.

Headdresses were built utilizing an unique, snug base that moved with the dancer’s head. “Hair” was stitched down to prevent extreme movement. Beads and additional décor were added by hand.
