Summary Summary - A summary isolates five or six key attributes about your primary qualifications. The summary is placed near the top of your resume. Pick the qualifications that best demonstrate why an employer should hire you and include them in your summary section. It is acceptable to leave off an objective if you use a clear, concise summary.

• Write brief one-line statements. • Use a short phrase to describe your profession. • Follow with a statement of broad or specialized expertise. • Include two or three additional statements related to any of the following:

o breadth or depth of skills. o unique mix of skills. o range of environments in which you have experience.o a special or well-documented accomplishment.o a sentence describing your professional objective or interest.
