Team Size : 8 (Eight) Project Description : APRA introduced a series of reform for Superannuation industry in the
manner RSE’s provide the details. In total 38 reporting standards are added by
APRA for data reports submitted by APRA. The project deals with enhancing system to generate reports having data which will be submitted to APRA. It is an

Project Description : BT Financial Group is one of Australia’s leading financial institutions.
Taking advantage of the time difference between Australia and India
(Australia ahead by approx. 5.5 hrs), and also cost-effective resourcing, BT decided to outsource the overnight
support of its applications running in the Production environment.
Over the period of time, HCL has started L2 supporting of 19 business applications. The HCLT’s team supports the
end of day batch jobs as well as BAU Venice calls. Whenever there is a problem in the software, an SMS is send to
the HCLT PS or the Operator from Data Center contacts HCLT PS through telephone. On receiving the SMS
message, HCLT PS informs the Data Center in Sydney that the problem is being looked into.
HCLT PS has defined SLAs to fix the problem and if the problem is not resolved within the defined SLAs, it is
escalated to BT Secondary. BT Secondary either informs HCLT PS of suggested solution or escalates the problem
to the Tertiary support person. BT Secondary also informs the Data Center of the status of the problem. Once the
problem is solved, HCLT PS informs Data Centre to re-execute the job and also updates all the problems in the
callout document for informing to individual application’s manager (client side).
Role & Responsibilities: As a project manager, I am responsible to participate in management
meeting with customer & HCL Sr. Managers, to prepare roster sheet, to track SLA of the project & to take managerial decisions related to project. Also responsible for preparing different metrics like MTTR, Service Request Resolution %, KEDB Usage %.

to Australian investors. The project is to unbundle the fee charged to the client.
Implement the Adhoc Advice fee “One-off advice fee” and ongoing fee for BTFG
Investments, Superannuation and Pension clients in accordance with FOFA
Program. The project scope is to let investor know what percentage of fee is paid
to advisor, platform and fund managers.

This project is to change in the TRUST system for the redemption functionality for
the retail Superannuation products and Allocated Pension products to ensure
compliance with the Superannuation and Taxation legislation changes resulting
from the 2006 Federal budget.

very few controls/checks built into the process. The current controls & checks are
done manually and require specialized technical skills and a very high level of
knowledge of Trust’s distribution functionality.
Errors in distribution posting have a very high customer impact and are costly to
fix and take considerable time.
This project aims to prevent errors in the distribution by adding additional checks
to the process before transactions are posted. This enables early detection of errors

Project : PSBS MIGRATION PROJECT
Time Period : Sep. ’2003 to December’2004. Team Size : 6 (Six) Project Description : The Registry Consolidation project has originated from the integration of
the BT Financial Group business with the Sagitta business (Sagitta being the
integrated Rothschild Australia Asset Management [RAAM] ) and Westpac
Financial Services [WFS] businesses). The data conversion stream for this project
has been broken into multiple phases.
Phase 1 dealt with migrating all the Sagitta products and only the general
investment products of Westpac Financial Services onto TRUST.
Phase 2 (PSBS Migration) will deal with migrating the Westpac Super fund data
across to TRUST, which are
WSSF: - Westpac Superannuation Savings Fund.
WSIF: - Westpac Superannuation Investment Fund.
GRPS: - Westpac Group Personal Super Fund.
Since the project is migrating all the products that are maintained in Westpac
PSBS database, so it is named as “PSBS Migration Project”.
The full name of PSBS is “Personnel Superannuation &
Business System”.
PSBS is a Westpac Database System where the Westpac Superannuation Savings
Fund (WSSF) and Westpac Superannuation Investment Fund (WSIF) as well as
the open Groups Personal Super (GRPS) Funds are administered.
WSSF & WSIF are Personnel Super Products whereas GRPS is a General
Investment Product even though administered on the PSBS system.
Westpac on VAX/VMS System maintains it and the language that is used is
“Powerhouse”.
