Alcohol Poisoning

• Signs that someone is on their way:– Vomiting– Blacking out– Passing out
Symptoms
• Passing out, semi-conscious • Cold, pale, or bluish skin • Vomiting while sleeping • Slow or irregular breathing • Seizures
• If you see someone with these symptoms...Never leave the person alone.Never put her or him to bed to "sleep it off".Get medical help.

Liability of Alcohol Service
• Service to under 21.• Service to already intoxicated.• High risk behaviors after consuming alcohol.
Key to remember about alcohol liability:if someone does something stupid under the influence of alcohol you
served or provided for them, you are liable!
Types of Liability• Administrative (ABC/Against Licensee)
- $750 - $6000 fine, 15 day - indefinite suspension, revocation
- 3 Strikes• Criminal (Court/Against Server)
- $1000 - $2700 fine, community service, jail
• Civil– Injured parties seek compensation

• If you are convicted of an alcohol violation it will follow you into your career and affect your ability to get – the job, – credit, – etc.
