What are we facing?

Given the size and number of areas subject to the threat of a CBR event, providing the fundamental tools for a response is a daunting task.

First responders to such an event will need detailed information about the location of many different features of the effected area, including

PoliceFireMedicalElectricalWaterHazardous materialsCommunicationsTransportationAnd many, many others

There may be no internet

How can we help?

The US Dept. of Homeland Security requested a system to meet these needs.

TerraGo proposed:•Provide a single COTS machine that contains all needed data.•Insure that it is constantly refreshed.•Deliver the data in a simple, easy to use format for users who are not mapping professionals.•Function in both connected and disconnected environments.

TerraGo was awarded a contract in April, 2012.
