What is Sands Eco 360º?

The Sands Eco 360º, Global Program for the

Sustainable Development, is the result of the union

between Las Vegas Sands’ best practices in

technology and in methodology in the sustainability

field.

Sands Eco 360º is based on three pillars: people,

the planet and the benefit. The first pillar is the

commitment that LVS has with its employees in the

creation of a safe and healthy working environment,

and the commitment to improving the quality of life

of the communities in which it operates. The second

pillar is the commitment to sustainable development

to minimize the ecological impact of their buildings.

The third one is based on the management of

recycling, energetic efficiency and renewable

energies programs.

LVSC covers four key areas on sustainability:

The sustainable building of their resorts.

Environmental policies.

Purchasing policies.

Outsourcing their best practices and innovations

to help others be more respectful with the

environment (employees, customers,

Administrations and corporations).

These pillars include areas such as the conservation of

energy and water, recycling, working directly with providers

to innovate new products to be more sustainable and the

education of its employees, customers and communities to

learn how to coexist with and respect the

environment. These practices do not minimize the luxury

experience that distinguishes all of LVSC Resorts.

Why was Sands Eco 360º created?

The answer is very simple. Many of the

properties of LVS are in geographical areas

where there is lack of natural resources, such

as Las Vegas. Sands Eco 360° is a

comprehensive, wide way to respect and

protect the local environment, natural

resources, climate and cities where LVSC

has created its touristic resorts.

Las Vegas Sands Foundation is a non-profit

organization that offers assistance to charity

centers and organizations that focus on

improving the quality of life of people.

Being an exemplary company and a good

citizen is a built-in part of Las Vegas Sands and

all members of its team. LVSC is leader in the

countries where it operates, since it offers its

professionals a model working environment by

supporting the communities in which they live.

The Foundation carries out the mission of

supporting charitable organizations and causes

to help young people, to promote a healthy

lifestyle and to expand their educational

opportunities. It also promotes organizations

that focus their efforts on helping minority

communities improving the most disadvantaged

areas.
