INTRODUCTION,Each .year, the Federal Government prepares and releases thousands of quality publications. Human. Resources

Management surveyed this vast resource to identify, review and annotate materials developed since 1975 which are. "citable for use by vocational education teachers. These materials are cited in eight separate volumes which are listed on

....

the inside cover of this booklet. rri addition to the traditional vocational -education program areas, efforts were made to .

locate and annotate materials f r use with the handicapped, disadvantaged, oldex.,(kmericans, displaced homemakers, youth and clientele of CETA,pr grams. Also, general references for vocational and career education are included -n eachbooklet. While these listings are by no means exhaustive, the materials are representative of both print and ncaprintmaterials which can be obtained free or fora nominal charge from federal organizations. Everyattempt possible has beenmade to ensure that the organizational names are the latest and most accurate. How,: ..,,;..r, materials from the former U.S.Department of Health, Education and Welfare (HEW) were developed and annotated prior to the recent di-iisi of theDepartment into the Department of 'Health and Human Resources and the new Decartm.ent of Ede atior. T. h._ .. .le oldname HEW has been used.
