Furthermore this adhesive contains no solvents, silicon or isocyanate. RESOPAL SpaStyling® Compound Adhesive is the recommended adhesive for bonding connections of RESOPAL SpaStyling® BOARDs together (e.g. groove and spring or mitre joints) or for connection of RESOPAL SpaStyling® BOARDs to RESOPAL SpaStyling® profiles. 1. Product advantages - Easy to use - Simple to maintain and clean - Contains no solvents, silicon or isocyanate - Wide adhesion spectrum - Odourless - Coating compatible - Permanently elastic from - 40°C to + 90°C - Excellent sealing properties 2. Area of application RESOPAL SpaStyling® Compound Adhesive is the recommended adhesive for bonding connections of RESOPAL SpaStyling® BOARDs together (e.g. groove and spring or mitre joints) or for connection of RESOPAL SpaStyling® BOARDs to RESOPAL SpaStyling® profiles. This adhesive bonds permanently and transparently on metal, plastic, Styrofoam, XPS rigid foam, glass, ceramics, natural and artificial stone, concrete, plaster and wood. 3. Preparation of components For best results components should be stable, clean and free of dust, oil and grease. We recommend cleaning with rubbing alcohol, Isopropanol or acetone. With various materials good bonding is achieved even without bonding agent. Nevertheless a bonding trial should be performed in advance as a test. 4. Instructions for use 4.1 General remarks - Can be used direct from the cartridge using a suitable gun (manual, pneumatic, battery-operated gun) - Nozzle should be cut to match components - We recommend applying a layer of 1 – 6 mm depending on bond area, material extension, tension and mechanical loading - Fully automatic application is possible - With diffusible substrates the mass can be applied across extensive areas using a notched trowel - Bond must be completed within the handling time - Adhesive that has not dried can be removed with rubbing alcohol or Isopropanol - Adhesive that has dried can only be removed mechanically. - Under UV light original transparency may be lost
