and towns of Greater Boston can benefit so much from a few smart, simple, doable
changes that temptation will stand no chance. Resolve to work toward them in your
municipality: you’ll feel better about letting up a little on the kale. We promise.
Things are changing. By 2030, the region’s population will be much grayer, and
communities will have to be strategic about making sure seniors have ways to stay in
their communities, and about attracting and retaining young, productive adults. One
important way to do that, and therefore to become or
remain competitive and vibrant, will be to offer – even in the
suburbs – both rental and ownership multifamily units.
