Language

• The language that is used within the magazine is not straightforward english as it uses some slang to relate to a reader better as the target audience is young people. The use of slang allows this to be relatable and appealing, as it forms a relationship with the audience

• The language used in we love pop is informal; this is suggested by the use of words like by using words such “phwoartatic” as which is likely to be understood by a teenager. The language used mimics the way teenagers speak and would therefore appeal to a teenage target audience.
