The Kiss Land album cover features the artist giving direct address. His body language added with this gives an arrogant mood from the artist. This represents him as a traditional male. He is shown in a mid shot and takes up the majority of the photo, being the only focal point. This helps the audience identify him and idiolise him. There is a very simplistic layout with the picture and title separated by a plain black border. The font incorporates the same oriental influences as the poster and CD. This theme is also used in some of his songs. The green colour theme is masculine as well as connoting money and drugs. These are conventional of the larger hip-hop genre. The lack of information on the cover is similar to his website and adverts as they address the target audience’s demand as they don’t want a lot of information. The poster is an addition to the oriental theme. It incorporates the same green as well as red connoting violence and contrasting nicely. The poster has a very traditional representation of women as they are shown as sexual objects. The cartoon character on the poster is a contrast to the conventional character of a hip-hop artist but also acts as a kind of logo. The CD uses the same green and shows a structural pattern made of straight lines. It resembles the New York skyline but gives a very futuristic impression which is a theme explored in a few of his videos.
