RDSO is the sole Research, Design and Standards Organization of Indian Railways, dedicated to.create & adopt technology solutions for Indian Railways. Wagon Directorate of RDSO is dealingwith design and development of wagon items, its assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Slackless Draw Bar are used as coupling systems on the various wagons of Indian Railways.Guidelines for Multisourcing of Slackless Draw Bar used on container flat wagons on IR" havebeen finalized through a consultative process. The same is documented as RDSO Guideline NoCONTR-02-SDB-MSG-2012 of May 2012 This guideline is available on the "Notice forVendors" Tab on the "Wagon Directorate's Web page" on the RDSO websitewww.rdso.indianrailways.gov.in for perusal of likely respondents of this EO!.
