IntroductionIntroduction High school can change a person’s life entirely. There are cliques and people that are out to cause drama for others. Rumors are spread to cause problems for other people. Reputations are ruined for others also. Reputations are the first thing people know about you so having a bad reputation can be something that pushes people away before they know your true personality. Whether this is right or wrong, it is still true. This project is here to inform teenagers about the impacts and repercussions of a high school reputation.

Many studies focus on boys as being bullies but girls can be even worse when it comes to harassment.
Girls bully in more emotional ways than boys, it usually does not come down to physical attacking in girl drama.

**In Twisted, many characters had reputations. Tyler had a rebellious reputation, Chip had a jock reputation, Bethany had a flirty popular girl reputation.

**In Twisted, Tyler has many rumors spread about him. The rumor of when he spray painted the school spread quickly and changed his reputation forever. The rumor about Bethany at the party blemished his reputation, also.

**In Twisted, Tyler’s reputation went from being a loser that no one really knew to a rebel. This was a result of the rumors about him spray painting the school.

**In Twisted, Chip is popular. When Chip starts to cause trouble in school, it seems as if authorities look over the fact that he’s a bully. When Tyler causes trouble, he gets full consequences.

**In Twisted, Chip is a fairly popular guy. Tyler does not like Chip because of family issues and he’s a bully.

**In Twisted, there is different cliques. Tyler talks about the jocks and how they would bully Yoda in the locker room.

**In Twisted, after Tyler goes to the party with Bethany, his reputation starts to crumble. He is accused of doing bad things that he is not guilty of.

**In Twisted, Bethany flirts with a lot of guys. She is popular to the guys she flirts with but to outsiders, she is just promiscuous.

Each character also makes different choices that reflect their reputation, such as drinking, committing crimes, and presenting themselves differently.

**In Twisted, Tyler tries to mend his reputation by waiting it out when he is in isolation. He also tries to move on and forget Bethany.
Wrap Up of Survey.Wrap Up of Survey. Most high school students, when surveyed, said that they had a rumor spread about them. In research, I found that rumors were common in high school regardless of gender.
Many people said that they have the friends that they do because of things like partying, academics, clothing, etc. This fact stays true to the research because I found that the main indicator of when teens start to drink is if their friends do. (Impaired Driving and Teens)
