( Continuing Professional Development Act of 2016)
“It is hereby declared the policy of the State to
promote and upgrade the practice of
professions in the country. Towards this end, the
State shall institute measures that will
continuously improve the competence of the
professionals in accordance with international
standards of practice, thereby, ensuring their
contribution in uplifting the general welfare,
economic growth and development of the nation.”
MONITORING of CPD Programs & Professionals
A. CPD Programs of Local CPD Providers
- Completion Report (SID-CPD-04), to submit within 15 working days after termination of the program.(monitor’s observation/recommendations)
- Completion Report (SID-CPD-05) by CPD provider, to submit within 30 calendar days to CPDC council
B CPD Programs of Foreign CPD Providers
- a video conferencing of the actual conduct
of the CPD program is required
Within 15 days after completion of the CPD program,
Monitor submits report to the CPDC
report includes monitor’s observation and
recommendations, attendance/ participation of Professionals

Within 15 days from submission by monitor to CPDC,
CPDC furnishes copy to CPD provider
�
Within 30 days, CPD provider submits complete report back to
CPDC
�

Documents required for application:
- Instructional Design of the
activity
- Program should be
recognized by an accredited
institution and/or organization
who may be the host of the
activity
- Program activity must be
identified as a meaningful
experience and include the
following in giving credit units :
experience, time, exposure
