2. Calvin continued saying that first he would invent a time machine.3. He also declared that then he would come back to the day before and would take himself to the following day . 4. He finally stated that first he would skip that dumb assignment.

2. Calvin replied no, that he was waiting for inspiration.3. Calvin added that he couldn’t just turn on creativity like a faucet and that he had to be in the right mood.4. Hobbes inquired him what mood was that and Calvin answered last-minute panic.
1. Calvin asked Susie if he could borrow her black crayon.2. Susie accepted, but she told him not to break it and not to peel the paper off and to colour with all sides of it so it stayed pointy.3. Calvin asked her why she didn’t take out an insurance policy on it.4. Susie reminded him not to ruin her crayon and asked him what he was drawing anyway.
5. When Susie learnt what Calvin was drawing, she told him to give her crayon back.
