REPORT ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY WORKSHOP

Research methodology workshop was conducted in Seva Mandal Education Society’s Smt.

Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand College of Nursing in Collaboration with Trained Nurses

Association of India Maharashtra State Branch on 26th February 2020. Workshop started with

registration process at 9am.189 participants registered for this workshop from all over Nursing

colleges in Mumbai including students and faculty. Refreshments were provided to the

participants. The Programme was hosted by Ms Jyoti K Pandey, Clinical instructor, SSPG CON.

Session I: Inculcating Departmental Research Activities Asst. Prof.Dr.Swapnali Saurabh Kadam

Madam swapnali kadam began with the

first session on inculcating departmental

research activities explaining the need of

research. She spoke about the types of

research which can be conducted in

various department in various ways.




Session II: Review Of Literature Asst. Prof.Dr.Swapnali Saurabh Kadam

Inaugural Ceremony

The inaugural ceremony began with lighting the lamp by all the dignitaries.

Mrs. Prachi Dharap, secretary TNAI Maharashtra state branch chaired the programme as Chief

guest, Whereas Dr. Rupali Sengupta was the Guest of Honor. The programme was also graced by

our Management Members, President- Dr. Dilip Trivedi, Hon. Secretary Dr. Bharat Pathak,

Treasurer, Shri. Vasant Khetani, Principals and Vice Principal of BMN college of home science

and M. M. P shah college of Arts and Commerce and Principal, Mrs. Anjali Katdare ,Vice

Principal Mrs.Shilpa Shettigar and all faculty members of Seva Mandal Education Society’s

Smt..Sunanda Pravin Gambhirchand College of Nursing.

Madam swapnali kadam began with the

second session on review of literature

explaining the need of it. She spoke

about searching of reviews in pubmed

and important of ROL




Inaugural speech

Address by Guest of honour

Dr. Dilip Trivedi (President of the Seva

Mandal Education society) gave the

inaugural speech and welcomed the

audience. He also appreciated the

enthusiasm of nursing profession on

taking up interest in Research related

activities.

Mrs. Prachi Dharap, secretary TNAI

Maharashtra state branch addressed the

gathering. She emphasized the need for

incorporating more research related

activities in the profession. She also

congratulated and appreciated the

organizers and team of SSPG college of

nursing for initiating academic related

programmes

Dr Rupali Sengupta guest of honor

announced the results of the

competition which was held in the

month of October 2019.She expressed

her views about the evaluation carried

out and gave tips for improvement. The

winners were awarded for the same.

Session III: Intellectual Property Rights Prof.Dr. Sameena Javed

Madam Sameena Javed began with the third session on intellectual property rights. She spoke

about Intellectual property right. It was knowledgeable and lively session .




Session IV: Writing A Research Protocol Asso.Prof.Dr. Pinaki Wani

Madam Pinaki wani is working as a asst professor in K J Somaiya Medical College, she has

received Dharani scholarship award for securing first rank in MD examination of MUHS

University. She started the session of writing a research protocol wherein she covered all the

important aspects which is required for conducting a research.

Session V: Ecosystem For Innovation Including Incubation Center

Mr. Sijo Varghese

Sir started the session in an interactive manner. He spoke about innovation and incubation center.

He gave trending examples for the same and made the topic more interesting.




Post Test

VOTE OF THANKS

Post test was conducted at the end of sessions. The analytical data depicted a huge

significance of the course. All the delegates participated in the test

Vote of Thanks was given by Ms. Jyoti

Pandey. The programme ended at 5pm.
