Please follow the below steps to remove your old AV and download, install and activate

ESET.

1. Uninstall any previous anti-virus program. (Example: Kaspersky Internet Security)

2. Click on the Windows “Start” button.

3. Click on “All Programs”.

4. Click on “Remove Kaspersky”

5. Click on “Accept”.

6. Click on “Next”.

7. You need to click on the ticked boxes to empty them and then click on “Next”.

8. Click on “Remove”.

9. Click on “Yes”.

10. You will now see the uninstallation progress occurring.

11. Click on “Yes” to restart the computer.

When your computer has restarted, please complete the following to install ESET.

12. Open up your normal Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

13. Enter the below web address.

14. Select “Download” and choose the product you purchased (NOD32, Smart Security, etc.)

15. Depending on the browser you are using, select save or save as to save the file to your

download’s folder or desktop.

If this option isn’t available the file should automatically save within your download’s folder.

16. Once the file has been saved, if prompted select “run”.

If this option isn’t available go to your Desktop (the first window that appears when you start

up your computer and it has finished loading) or Downloads folder, double click on the file that

you downloaded.

17. Installation Wizard will commence, select ‘Next’.

18. Accept terms and conditions to proceed.

19. Enable “ESET Live Grid”.

20. Enable “Potentially Unwanted Applications” and select “Install”.

21. Click “Yes” to commence installation.

22. Click “Finish” to complete installation.

23. Allow sharing if prompted, choose: “Home /Work Network”.

24. If the below prompt is shown, Click “Yes”.

25. Activate your license.

26. Once license has been activated, select “Finish”.

ESET will update databases and run a computer scan automatically once license has been activated.

Once the computer scan has been completed, restart your computer.
