This week’s theme is: “Respecting Our Environment” New Furniture Two classrooms have been refurbished with new furniture. The grade 5/6 and 4/5 classrooms now have 12 new tables, 24 chairs and two bays of lockers for the children. This upgrade has been made possible through the hard work of the parents’ Club in earning locally raised funds through a variety of acvies over the past few years. The new furniture is more comfortable for the children and enables the teachers to be more flexible with their teaching. It also looks great and replaces tables and chairs that were purchased almost twenty years ago. Hopefully we will be able to purchase furniture for the grade 2/3 area next year which will mean every grade in the school will have lovely new furniture for the children. School Uniform It school policy that children wear the approved uniform to school every day. This pracce is more convenient for parents and insls a sense of belonging in the school with the children. Most families fully comply with the uniform policy but some children regularly aend school with incorrect trousers, shirts and jumpers. Uniform is available for sale at the school at cost price and pre-loved uniform items are given to families in need. I ask that parents ensure their children are wearing the correct uniform at school and that the name of the family is clearly marked on the clothing. Thanks, Chris McCallum.

Sam T, played a really good game.
Shawn and Tristan played really well
for us. Ryan played in the back flank and I
played in the centre.
We were beaten by 60 points.
