REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES Luther High School Keeping Christ in High School Education Kingdom Workers Bible Study As we see evil and sin and wrongdoing continue to grow in our world, we may be tempted to think that God no longer cares about us or this world which He created. In spite of how things may seem to us, God has not and will not aban- don His world or His people. The prophet Jeremiah lived at a time when it seemed as though the world had fallen apart and God no longer cared about His people. The nation of Israel had been defeated. The city of Jerusalem was destroyed. The temple of God was in ruins. Jeremiah knew that God still cared. Jeremiah wrote, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lam. 3:22-23). The theme for this year’s Kingdom Workers Bible classes is “Jesus works in our world”. We have a first rate schedule of classes to demonstrate that this is true in spite of how it may seem to our human eyesight and human wisdom. Please join us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. Classes are held in the Commons at Luther High School from 7:15-8:30 p.m. with a time for extended discussion and fellow- ship to follow.
