Remember to Look for My Loving Intentions Discussion Questions: 1. Can you identify a time you were misunderstood, your motives or intentions questioned? How did that feel? 2. Can you identify a time when you misunderstood someone else, questioning their motives or intentions? How did you feel when you realized it? How did the other person respond to you? 3. How did Jesus respond when His motives or intentions were questioned? How did Jesus “look for loving intentions” in others? 4. How often (frequently, sometimes, rarely) are your intentions NOT loving? How important is it to you that others look for your loving intentions? 5. If having other people look for your loving intentions is important to you, can you imagine that other people would desire the same from you? 6. What can you do to communicate and demonstrate a congruence between your intentions and your words/actions? 7. How could “looking for loving intentions” improve communication with one another, especially with people with whom we disagree? 8. With whom do you need to practice “looking for loving intentions” this week? Will you commit to doing so?
