Triangle Area Education
There are three points to a Triangle; and in our case, that
means three cities and three major research universities. The
Research Triangle is home to some of themost educated and talented
peoplein the world, with 53 percent of our population holding a
bachelors degree or higher. With the highest concentration of PhDs
in the nation, the combined knowledge assets of the region provide
unparalleled resources to North Carolina companies, universities,
and area entrepreneurs.
RTP is anchored at all three corners by three of the country's
top research universities, which are all within 15 minutes of its
headquarters (view map):Duke UniversityNorth Carolina State
