Enriching Experiences

The power to engage everyone on their terms and devices, offering

instant access to the information they need.

22

WHAT IS “MOBILE”?

Why is MOBILITY Important?

Mobility is important for individuals because ACCESS and ENGAGEMENT

anywhere anytime is the expectation.

We see this demonstrated in social networking, to banking, from work to education, airlines, and

everywhere in-between.

Individuals want information and want to contribute information at a moment’s notice.

Within one year, some 45% of U.S. higher education students will own and access the Internet from handheld devices.

Analytics Fine-tune your mobile strategy by seeing how users interact with your Blackboard Mobile Central app

• See a dashboard view of key usage stats including number of times your application has been run (“App Runs”), runs per day, the number of active users and the average run time per session.• View usage by iOS device: iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.aph and compare module usage, e.g., the number Athletics runs vs. Events runs, and even see what people are searching for.• See where your app is being used with the density tracker and see how far your reach stretches!

All data can be viewed over any of the pre-set timeframes, or you can create a custom view–however you’d like to see the data!
