Divinity dwells within each person, we are spiritual beings, the highest spiritual

principle is loving one another unconditionally ... and teaching and healing one

another; starting with ourselves. Our mental state carries forward into

manifestation and becomes our experience in daily living. Humanity is at a

precipus where positive change is required; we want it; we are just unsure how to

obtain it.

Change begins from within; we must release the negative that resides within and

break the patterns that imprison us to remain in the cycle. Once we release the

old we make way for our new. You will begin to create a version of you

from a place of love, trust and support. This is your journey, travelled by you;

paralleling all other souls. Do you wish to journey from a place of LOVE or

FEAR?It matters not what I believe or that I have been sharing Reiki for over 10 years;

what matters is it is available to everyone and I am choosing to be a channel for

you to receive this transforming tool. Reiki is wisdom of its own and will begin to

transform/heal all aspects of you; whether it begins on a physical/emotional or

spiritual level it matters not as it will come full circle. The key to your success

lies within your commitment to use this tool daily. You dont have to believe inReiki; Reiki believes in you.

My passion, purpose and desire is to bring a higher level of evolutionary

awareness to the souls who are summoning this energy, this change. As we

summon more light (universal life force) through our desire to evolve as humans

and as a planet we continue to elevate in vibration frequency, a convergence is

created and our natural evolution results.

I am grateful for every person and situation I have experienced in my life and

would not change a second of any of it; for within it, contains my growth and

Reiki is a method of using universal energy to enhance well being. This coursefocuses on the traditional form of Reiki, which is known as Usui Reiki.Through a hands on technique, Reiki is used to bring peace and balance to

mind, body and spirit. Reiki is based on accessing the Universal Life Energy,which is a part of everything and everyone; it is accessible to everyone if theychoose it to come into their lives. People are often drawn to Reiki even whenthey know very little about it.

To learn Reiki you need a sincere commitment to yourself. The techniques forReiki are easily learned and accessible to everyone. When first learned thetechniques are primarily used for self- healing then for helping only friends andfamily, plants and animals. You begin healing the core of your circle (you) then

you take care of those inside your circle.

Many people use Reiki to help facilitate change or to open up a new way ofliving. Reiki works on a level of trust; you can have no specific expectations ofthe healing, for some healing is not necessarily curing; rather, it is aboutrestoring a sense of wholeness and harmony. Many Reiki adherents say thatReiki has a wisdom of its own and that it can be empowering even when

physical healing is not possible. Opening up to Reiki gives us a deeperconnection to life itself, helping us to discover who we are and our place in the

world; but true understanding comes only through experience.

Everyone has the ability to heal themselves and aid in the healing of others.Universal energy flows through all of us; however, this flow can become blockedduring periods of stress and illness. Reiki is a powerful method of healing using

the hands which can remove these blockages and restore the flow of energyaround the body. The spirit of Reiki is challenging and rewarding and can lead

you into a journey of spiritual exploration and discovery. This force can

empower you to feel as an emotional being, to respond to situations clearly,creatively and to act throughout your life as a channel for good.

Reiki is a sacred practice that requires reverence and our greatest respect if weare able to experience its most wonderful value. The benefits of Reiki can beall encompassing, not only giving us the ability to heal ourselves and others,which by itself is deeply meaningful, but also bringing guidance for our lives. Its

unlimited nature can create opportunities for continual growth, un-foldment andthe awakening of our boundless potential. The ever increasing joy, abundanceand peace that await those who sincerely pursue the path of Reiki are not onlya blessing to be enjoyed, but also contain the healing that the planet so dearlyneeds. Those who have been initiated into Reiki often feel this greaterpotential and aspire to continue on to the Master levels.

The concept of a Life Force has been recognized in many cultures for

thousands of years and similar concepts are used in many otherhealing/therapies such as; Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Tia Chi and Yoga. InChina this energy/life force is known as Chi, in Hinduism as Prana and by

the ancient Egyptians as Ka.

means Universal and means Life Force.

Reikis aim is to draw energy from the Universal Life Force through your bodyand out your hands. By layering your hands on various parts of the body, theytransmit energy to help restore its natural flow around the body. It also releasesany blockages in the body that may prevent one from reaching their fullpotential. The effects of Reiki are not always immediate or obvious, althoughfor some it can be dramatic and instant. Reiki has its own inherent wisdom andacts as a force that give people what they need rather than what they ask for.

Reiki is not a religion and therefore can be practiced by people of differentfaiths. Reiki has no specific religious dogmas associated with it; Reiki is aboutencouraging people to have trust in themselves and in the Universe. Reikiknows no limits and reaches to every cell of our bodies, as well as the cells ofother living things. Through the science of physics, we know that energy holdsmatter together. The whole Universe is a careful balance between energy and

matter, from the smallest atom to the greatest star.

Reiki also works on the emotional and spiritual levels of our being, helping usput right what is wrong in our lives. All of us need to acknowledge the differentlevels of existence and recognize that we are more than practical beings who

exist simply to work, bring up children and look after our homes. As part ofhuman life, we need to engage in relationships within the family, friends,acquaintances and colleagues at work. In order to be able to play a full role

within life, we need to be and feel whole within ourselves. Reiki helps with thisand in turn enables us to help others with their lives.

Reiki came to the Western world via California and

Hawaii from Japan. Reiki evolved from theexperience and dedication of Dr. Mikao Usui; aChristian Professor of Theology at DoshinaUniversity in Kyoto, Japan.

One day, Dr. Usui was asked a question by one ofhis students, which he found himself unable to

answer. The question posed was, How exactlydid Jesus heal? This marked the beginning of Dr. Usuis lifelong quest to

uncover the source of ancient healing techniques. He left Japan and went tothe US where he studied and earned his Doctorate in Theology. Hesearched scriptures to try and uncover the secrets of how Jesus healed the sickand performed miracles; he was unable to find the answers.

It occurred to Dr. Usui that Buddha had also performed the same healingabilities as Jesus. Dr. Usui requested that he be admitted to the ZenMonastery so that he could study the Buddhist scriptures, in search of the keyto healing. He was granted and began his studies; but still didnt find his

answers. He then learned to read Sanskrit so that he could read the originalBuddhist writings. From these writings he believed he found the keys tohealing. He found symbols, formulas and descriptions of how Buddha healed.

After having uncovered the knowledge, he still didnt have the power to heal.Upon discussing this with his old friend a monk, they meditated on the path heshould take. Dr.Usui was guided to go to a designated place upon MountKuri Yama. There he was to fast for 21 days and meditate to seek the powerto heal. During this time he would receive enlightenment and clarity.

Dr Usui climbed the mountain and sat facing east. As he did not have acalendar he gathered 21 stones to represent each day.

On his 21st day, he awoke to a dark morning; so much that he could not see hishand in front of his face. He stood and asked out loud for confirmation of hisfindings to be given the enlightenment of how to use this knowledge.

From the East appeared a light that travelled towards him and hit him in histhird eye. This put him into a euphoric state where he saw many colours and

bubbles and the symbols and formula began to come to him. He memorized andpreserved them. When the process was over Dr. Usui felt rested, full of lifeand energy.

Dr. Usui spent the rest of his life healing the sick and troubled and teaching thehealing system that he called Reiki. After some years, he came to believe thatpeople needed to play an active part in their own healing if the effects were to

be long standing. He therefore began to teach the 5 Precepts of Reiki.These aimed to help people foster a positive mental and spiritual attitude,which complemented the healing.

Dr. Usui passed his knowledge to Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, who set up a clinic inTokyo. In 1935, a woman called Hawayo Takata, from Hawaii, visited theTokyo clinic where she received treatment for a brain tumor every day for eight

months. Her tumor had disappeared. Mrs. Takata became attuned/initiatedto Reiki and returned to Hawaii where she dedicated her life to healing andteaching Reiki. By the time of her death in 1980, Mrs. Takata had trained 22Masters of Reiki. These Masters have since taken Reiki to the UnitedStates, Canada; from there to the rest of the world.

Illness is regarded as one of mankind's greatest enemies and every year billionsof dollars are spent in the "fight" against it. As medicine becomes morespecialized the holistic approach to healing is lost. In Reiki we are concernedwith the balance of the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life; restoringbalance to the "whole" person, instead of focusing on specific symptoms. Wesee the illness as the body's way of pointing out to us that there is a problem.Illness always points out the areas in which we need to grow. If we aren't in a

state of balance (or ease) it is because we have suppressed, rejected, ignoredor even fought certain parts of ourselves.

Tension and stress have built up and energy cannot flow freely in our bodies.The dis-ease (or lack of ease) that results points to the area which has becomeunbalanced. We may choose to ignore or suppress the bodys message. In our

fast-paced society we are encouraged to take a pill to relieve symptoms instead

of investigating the root cause of illness. If ignored the dis-ease it becomes moreserious. Eventually, should we never really listen and take personalresponsibility for the messages received, the body will cease to functionaltogether.

Taking responsibility for your life and healing is a vital part of the Reikiphilosophy. Dr. Usui believed that a positive mental attitude was a crucialfactor in self-healing and that releasing oneself from worry was the first step

toward clearing the mind.

The five precepts of Reiki are vital components of a fulfilled life and each one isintended to be followed on a daily basis. They encourage us to believe thateven small steps can make a difference to our happiness and well being. Theprecepts are produced in the form of affirmations or reminders.

If we discipline ourselves to live in the current moment wehave set ourselves free from the fears of tomorrow and the judgements of

yesterday. By remaining in the current moment we awaken ourselves to trulyexperience what the day is offering. Today is a collection of moments; thesemoments teach us to remain aware of ourselves and to enjoy what is beingoffered. With expectations come disappointments. In the current moment wehave no expectations.

: Is an emotion related to one's psychological interpretation of havingbeen offended, overpowered, wronged or denied and a tendency to reactthrough retaliation. This emotion is one of a very low vibrating frequency.While it is ok to feel the feel; it is important to release is immediately. Releasinganger will assist in conditioning your ego to react differently to situations thattriggered the anger in the first place. Yelling at the top of your lungs or beatinga pillow are great ways to release anger immediately. These acts usually initiateintense laughter fits : )Live a quiet and peaceful life. Anger hurts others and yourself and HURTpeople.HURT people.

: Is thoughts, images and emotions of a negative nature in which mentalattempts are made [vague] to avoid anticipated potential threats. As anemotion it is experienced as anxiety or concern about a real or imagined issue,usually personal issues such as health and finances. Fear: False ExperiencesActing Real keeps individual in a cycle of creating exactly what they dont want.A though can be changed with a thought. Reiki Mastership is the step towards

fully trusting yourself and the Universe. Do your best today and the Universewill do the rest.

: When we begin to focus on the things we are grateful for, we willdraw more of it to us. Start expressing to your loved ones the gratitude youhave for their existence and support.

: All power and yet we are afraid of saying it, feeling it and expressing it.Why? Have you truly felt anything stronger than a moment of love you areexpressing? A sense of oneness will develop through Reiki healing (practice of

Love). A healthy society can only be established through the cooperation of alarge number of people. Love others is synonymous to Love yourself

Reiki is not "taught" in a traditional way, but is transferred from Master to

student via an attunement. There are three Reiki degrees/levels. The Masterdegree is divided into two sections- the first is the Master Practitioner and thesecond is the Master Teacher.

One learns to channel the reiki through their hands. You learn the 5 preceptsof Reiki, its history and all the hand positions. The student performs selftreatments for 21 days. During the 21 days a cleansing process takes placeallowing the student to balance their own energy and work on their own healing.Each student's experience is unique and entirely individual. The ability to drawon Reiki will remain with the student for the rest of his/her life.

The first covers the crown chakra for more light, universal wisdom and purposeto flow.The second connects the crown, heart and palm chakras for better functioningof the entire nervous system.The third balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain for clearer

thinking and action.The fourth affects the pineal and pituitary glands and the brain and seals in thetotal process.

The Second Degree attunement covers two areas.

1. You will be attuned to a higher and finer level of vibration.2. Three of the Usui Reiki symbols and their uses will be explained.The first symbol is used to increase the power of Reiki. The second symbol isused in emotional and mental healing. The third symbol allows each student to

go beyond the physical limitations of time and space to promote distant healing.

Level II may be taken 30 days after level I.

PERSONAL MASTERY

This is the level for personal growth. It only enhances practice on others by thedeep lateral view that evolves through regular practice. Reiki is a spiritualdiscipline which must be practised as such at this level. This means thatdedication and commitment are necessary, not only to the regular practice ofself-treatment, but also to the investigation of the ways of energy and themeaning of consciousness. The Master level is triggered by initiation duringwhich the Master's symbol is implanted in the heart of the student. The seed of

light grows and shines from within. Inner light burns away all unwanted emotionsfrom the past and present, leaving a clear slate. When the light shines fromwithin we obtain enlightenment. As long as we see the light shining on us fromwithout then we will live with a dark shadow.The heart must be truly ready for this and be open to the deeply sacred nature

of the process.

The Master Practioner level attunement consists of the remaining fourth Usui

symbol is introduced. You will learn how to create a healing/manifestation gridand many meditations for connecting with your higher self.The time duration between Level II and level III will be that of your choosing,

you will be intuitively directed. Many students have waited eight months tothree years before moving into this level. You will know when you are ready.

Students learn the necessary skills to attune and teach each other. You learnwhat to teach, the empowerment of students on all levels and assisting them intheir experience of Reiki. Two Tibet symbols are also given.

I recommend that this level be taught in person from a Reiki Master who willspend at least two/ three full days on the material with you.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel, or vortex, and it refers to each of the

seven energy centers of which our consciousness, our energy system, iscomposed.

These chakras, or energy centers, function as pumps or valves, regulating theflow of energy through our energy system. The functioning of the chakrasreflects decisions we make concerning how we choose to respond to conditionsin our life. We open and close these valves when we decide what to think, and

what to feel, and through which perceptual filter we choose to experience theworld around us.

The chakras are not physical. They are aspects of consciousness in the sameway that the auras are aspects of consciousness. The chakras are more densethan the auras, but not as dense as the physical body. They interact with thephysical body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous

system. Each of the seven chakras is associated with one of the sevenendocrine glands, and also with a group of nerves called a plexus. Thus, eachchakra can be associated with particular parts of the body and particularfunctions within the body controlled by that plexus or that endocrine glandassociated with that chakra.

All of your senses, all of your perceptions, all of your possible states of

awareness, everything it is possible for you to experience, can be divided intoseven categories. Each category can be associated with a particular chakra.Thus, the chakras represent not only particular parts of your physical body,but also particular parts of your consciousness.

When you feel tension in your consciousness, you feel it in the chakraassociated with that part of your consciousness experiencing the stress, and inthe parts of the physical body associated with that chakra. Where you feel the

stress depends upon why you feel the stress. The tension in the chakra isdetected by the nerves of the plexus associated with that chakra, andtransmitted to the parts of the body controlled by that plexus. When thetension continues over a period of time, or to a particular level of intensity, theperson creates a symptom on the physical level.

The symptom speaks a language that reflects the idea that we each create our

reality, and the metaphoric significance of the symptom becomes apparent whenthe symptom is described from that point of view. Thus, rather than saying, "Ican't see," the person would describe it as keeping themselves from seeingsomething. "I can't walk," means the person has been keeping themselves fromwalking away from a situation in which they are unhappy. And so on.

The symptom served to communicate to the person through their body what

they had been doing to themselves in their consciousness. When the personchanges something about their way of being, getting the message communicatedby the symptom, the symptom has no further reason for being, and it can bereleased, according to whatever the person allows themselves to believe ispossible.

We believe everything is possible.

We believe that anything can be healed. It's just a question of how to do it.

Understanding the chakras allows you to understand the relationship betweenyour consciousness and your body, and to thus see your body as a map of your

consciousness. It gives you a better understanding of yourself and thosearound you.

Top of the head

Violet

This Chakra is associated with the top of the head, thebrain, and the entire nervous system

Pineal Gland

Sense of empathy, unity, experiencing another person's experience asif you were inside them, being them.

The Crown Chakra represents that part of ourconsciousness concerned with perceptions of unity or separation. Just as theRoot Chakra showed our connection with Mother Earth, this chakra showsour relationship with Our Father in Heaven. It represents our connection withour biological father, which becomes the model for our relationship withauthority, and ultimately, with God. It's the level of the soul.

When one experiences a sense of separation from their father, they close thecrown chakra, and experience a sense of isolation and aloneness, as if they arein a shell, and having difficulty with feeling contact with those around them.Thought processes tend to justify and maintain the sense of aloneness.

The view from this chakra includes seeing one's Self as the singleconsciousness creating all, and paradoxically, thus connected to all, like a

dreamer dreaming a dream and realizing that all that is perceived is just anextension of their own consciousness.

Inner Light, which is what one experiences when they are in thedeepest part of their being, as a point of consciousness glowing withintelligence.

Also called White Light; Metaphysically, this is considered the most subtleelement of which the entire physical universe is created.This is your journey; no two journeys will be the same. Reiki in the end, will bringabout your emotional, physical and spiritual balance. In this state you willunderstand and love your individualness as you walk parallel paths with othersouls.

Center of the forehead

This Chakra is associated with the forehead and temples,with the carotid plexus

Pituitary Gland

: Extra Sensory Perception, all of the inner senses corresponding tothe outer senses, which together are considered spirit-to-spirit communication.

These include, for example, clairvoyance (inner sense of vision), clairaudience(inner sense of hearing), clairsentience (inner sense of touch), etc.

This Chakra is associated with the deep inner level of Beingwe call the Spirit, and with what we consider spirituality and the spiritualperspective, the point of view from that deeper part of our being that westerntraditions consider the subconscious or unconscious. It is the place where our

true motivations are found, and is the level of consciousness that directs ouractions and, in fact, our lives.

Base of the throat

Sky blue

This chakra controls the throat and the neck, and the armsand the hands. It is associated with the brachial or cervical plexus.

: Sense of Hearing

Thyroid Gland

: The aspects of expressing and receiving. Expressing can bein the form of communicating what one wants and what one feels, or it can be anartistic expression, as an artist painting, a dancer dancing, a musician playingmusic, using a form for expressing and bringing to the outside what was within.Expressing is related to receiving, as in "Ask, and ye shall receive."

This chakra is associated with listening to one's intuition, which guides one in an

optimal flow, in which one sees one's goals manifest, and it seems that theUniverse provides all their needs with no effort on their part at all. It's a state ofGrace. Abundance, therefore, is associated with this chakra, as is the aspect ofunconditional receiving necessary to accept the abundance of the Universe.

This is the first level of consciousness in which one perceives directly anotherlevel of Intelligence, and experiences one's interaction with this otherIntelligence.

Metaphysically, this chakra is related to creativity, creating, manifesting in thephysical world the fulfillment of one's goals.

Ether, as the crossover between the physical world and the world ofSpirit. On the physical level, it corresponds to deep space as the most subtlephysical element. From the point of view of the Spiritual, it represents the

matrix on which physical reality manifests.

Metaphorically, it represents a person's relationship with their space, the moviethat is playing around them.

Center of the chest

Emerald Green

This Chakra is associated with the heart and the bloodcirculatory system, and the cardiac plexus, as well as the lungs and the entirechest area.

Thymus Gland, controlling the immune system.

Sense of touch, in its aspect of relating to the person inside the body,

and distinct from the sensation of the Orange Chakra, which is more about thesensation one feels from their own body. Hugging, therefore, is a HeartChakra activity. When one hugs, one is aware of what the person inside theother body feels, and they are aware of what you feel inside your body, andthere is a sense of relating to the person inside the body. Sensitivity aboutbeing touched indicates heart chakra sensitivity.

: Perceptions of love, relationships (relating) with people closeto your heart, e.g. partner, siblings, parents, children. Difficulty with breathing,or with the lungs, the organs of air, indicates tension in the Heart Chakra. Aperson's relationship with air reflects their relationship with love.

AIDS is a problem with the person's perceptions of love, since it is the immunesystem which is affected. The person feels that their lifestyle separates themfrom those they love, often because of societal judgment.

Air

It is also from this point of view that one sees events in the physical world as themanifestation of co-creation among the Beings involved in those events.

Inner Sound, the sound one hears inside that does not depend upon

events outside. Often considered a pathological condition by traditionalmedicine, it is also seen by eastern traditions as a necessary prerequisite tofurther spiritual growth.

Solar plexus

Yellow

The parts of the body associated with this chakra includethe muscular system, the skin as a system, the solar plexus, the large intestine,stomach, liver, and other organs and glands in the region of the solar plexus.

The pancreas

Eyesight

Parts of the consciousness associated with this chakra includeperceptions concerned with power, control, freedom, the ease with which one isable to be themselves - ease of being. Mental activity and the mental body isalso associated with this chakra. The solar plexus chakra is also associated withthe level of being we call the personality, or ego.The relationship a person has with fire, or the sun, can be seen to have its

parallels in the persons relationship with the parts of their consciousness thatthis chakra represents. Someone sensitive about the sun, then, can be seen tohave particular sensitivities about power, or control, or freedom.

Sense of taste, appetite

This chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness

concerned with food and sex. It is about the body's communication to the Beinginside, about what the body wants and needs, and what it finds pleasurable.The person's ability to have children is also associated with this chakra. If thereis not a clear relationship with the element of water, associated with this chakra,the person's relationship with water is a reflection of their relationship with theparts of their consciousness associated with this chakra, i.e. food, sex, or havingchildren.

This chakra is also associated with the emotional body, and the person'swillingness to feel their emotions.

Also known as: Security Center, Muladhara

The perineum, the point between the anus and the sex organs

Red

Parts of the body: Lymph system, skeleton system (teeth and bones), theprostate gland in men, the sacral plexus, the bladder and elimination system, andthe lower extremities (legs - feet, ankles, etc.).Also the nose, since it is the organof the sense of smell, and associated with survival.

: Adrenal glands

: Smell

Security, survival, trust, the relationship with money, home, job.The ability to be grounded, to be present in the here and now; Ability to allowone's self to be nourished, in the sense of allowing one's Inner Being to besatisfied. This chakra also reflects a person's connection with their mother, andwith Mother Earth. How the person feels about being on the earth and their

connection with the physical body.

Symptoms or tensions in the parts of the body controlled by this chakraindicate tensions in the parts of the person's consciousness related to thischakra. Tension here is experienced as insecurity as a general perceptual filter.

More tension is experienced as fear. More than that is experienced as terror, ora threat to survival.

Earth

Everything begins with your consciousness. Everything that happens in yourlife, and everything that happens in your body, begins with something happeningin your consciousness.

Your consciousness is who you are, your experience of being.

You decide what ideas to accept and which to reject. You decide what to think,and you decide what to feel. When these decisions leave you with residualstress, you experience the stress as if in your physical body. We know thatstress creates symptoms. The interesting question is, "Which stress createswhich symptoms?" When we are able to quantify this process, we are then ableto see the body as a map of the person's consciousness, relating particular

symptoms to particular stresses and particular ways of being, in the same waythat Type "A" Behavior has been able to be associated with heart disease.

To understand this map, we must first orient ourselves to the idea that the

causes of symptoms are within. While it's true that germs cause disease andaccidents cause injuries, it is also true that this happens in accord with what ishappening in the consciousness of the person involved.

Germs are everywhere. Why are some people affected and not others?Something different is happening in their consciousness.

Why do some patients in hospitals respond better to treatment than others?They have different attitudes. Something different is happening in theirconsciousness. When someone is injured in an "accident," why is it that a veryspecific part of the body is affected, and that it is the same part that has hadhabitual problems? Is that an "accident," or is there a pattern and an order tothe way things happen in our bodies?

Your consciousness, your experience of Being, who you really are, is energy.We can call it "Life Energy" for now. This energy does not just live in yourbrain; it fills your entire body. Your consciousness is connected to every cell in

your body. Through your consciousness, you can communicate with everyorgan and every tissue, and a number of therapies are based on this

communication with the organs which have been affected by some kind ofsymptom or disorder.

This energy which is your consciousness, and which reflects your state ofconsciousness, can be measured through the process known as Kirlian

photography. When you take a Kirlian photograph of your hand, it shows acertain pattern of energy. If you take a second photograph while imagining that

you are sending love and energy to someone you know, there will be a different

pattern of energy shown on the Kirlian photograph. Thus, we can see that achange in your consciousness creates a change in the energy field that is beingphotographed, which we call the aura.

This energy field shown in the Kirlian photographs has been quantified, so thatwhen there are "holes" in particular parts of the energy field, these are said tocorrespond to particular weaknesses in specific parts of the physical body.

The interesting thing about this is that the weakness shows up in the energyfield before there is ever any evidence of it on the physical level.

Thus, we have an interesting direction of manifestation shown through what wehave described.

1. A change of consciousness creates a change in the energy field.

2. A change in the energy field happens before a change in the physical body.

The direction of manifestation is from the consciousness, through the energyfield, to the physical body.

Consciousness--1-->Energy Field--2-->Physical Body

When we look at things in this way, we see that it is not the physical bodycreating the energy field, the aura, but rather the aura or energy field that iscreating the physical body. What we see as the physical body is the end resultof a process that begins with the consciousness.

When someone makes a decision that leaves them with stress, creating a

blockage in the energy field with a sufficient degree of intensity, this creates asymptom on the physical level. The symptom speaks a certain language, whichreflects the idea that we each create our own reality. When the symptom isdescribed from that point of view, the metaphoric significance of the symptombecomes clear. Thus, instead of saying, "I can't see," the person would have tosay, "I have been keeping myself from seeing something." If they cannot walk,they would have to say, "I have been keeping myself from walking away from

something." And so on. We must understand that there are no accidents andno coincidences. Things do happen according to a pattern and order.

We can say that we have an inner guidance system, a connection to our HigherSelf, or our Inner Being, or whatever name we choose to give this Higher

Intelligence. This inner guidance system functions through what we call ourintuition, or our instinct. It speaks a very simple language. Either it feels good,or it doesn't. All the rest is just politics.

We are told we should move with what feels good, and do not do what doesn'tfeel good to us. We are told to trust this inner voice. When we don't follow thisinner voice we feel tension. We feel not-good.

Then, the voice must get louder. The next level of communication is through theemotions. As we move more and more in the direction that feels not-good, weexperience more and more emotions that feel not-good, and at some point wecan say, "I should have listened to myself when I thought to move in the other

direction." That meant that we heard the inner voice. Otherwise, we could nothave said, "I should have listened." If we make the decision we know is the rightone for us, and therefore change direction, there is a release of tension, we feel

better, and we know we are again on the right track.

If we continue to move in the direction that feels not-good, the communicationreaches the physical level. We create a symptom, and the symptom speaks alanguage which reflects the idea that we each create our own reality. When wedescribe the symptom from that point of view, we can understand the message.

If we change our way of being, we have received the message, and the symptomhas no further reason for being. It is able to be released, according to whateverwe allow ourselves to believe is possible.

If we created the symptom with a decision, we are also able to release it with adecision.

As an hypothesis, we can imagine that someone makes a decision that it is not agood idea to express what they want. From that moment, whenever there issomething they want, they keep themselves from expressing it, and thereforefrom having what they want. That feels not-good. The tension grows. Theyfeel more and more not-good as they keep themselves from expressing whatthey want and not having it.

Eventually, something happens to create a symptom on the physical level, andtheir right arm is affected. It could have happened through falling from a ladder,or in an automobile accident, or by pinching a nerve in the neck, or by "sleepingin a draft."

Something had to happen on the physical level to create the symptom, in orderto give the person the message on the physical level about what they had beendoing to themselves. We do to ourselves literally what we have been doing to

ourselves figuratively.

The effect is that the person cannot move their arm. They are keepingthemselves from reaching for something, and since it is the right arm, on the "will"side of the body, they are keeping themselves from reaching for or going forwhat they want. They have been giving themselves reasons to not believe thatthey could have what they want. When they begin to do something different in

their consciousness, they notice that something different begins to happen withtheir arm, and the symptom is able to be released.

When we are reading the body as a map of the consciousness within, we workwith the idea that the tensions in the body represent tensions in the person's

consciousness concerning what was happening in the person's life at the timethat the symptom developed. The person was feeling stress about somethingthat was happening in their life at that time.

We are going to examine the map of consciousness that the chakras provide, inorder to understand the language of the symptoms that are associated witheach chakra. In order to complete this map, however, we also need to look at

ourselves as each a polarity of yin and yang, feminine and masculinecharacteristics.

For most people, their right side is their yang side, their will side, their acting oractive side, and the left side is their yin side, their female side, their feeling or

adaptive side. For people who were born left-handed, this polarity is reversed.Thus, for a right-handed person, their right leg can be described as their will leg,or their male leg, or the foundation of their will, but for a left-handed person,

their left leg would be their male leg or will leg, and so on. Thus, we can talkabout the will arm, or the will eye, or the will nostril, etc., and which side it is on willdepend upon whether the person is right-handed or left-handed at birth.

Each of the chakras is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, in a logical andorderly sequence of seven vibrations. As we move up the scale, the elementsbecome more and more subtle, moving through the five physical elements of

earth, water, fire, air, and ether, to the spiritual elements of inner sound andinner light. The heaviest element is on the bottom, the lightest on the top. It is alogical and orderly sequence.

The colors of the spectrum also represent a series of seven vibrations in alogical and orderly sequence, as do the notes of the musical scale. Thus, we canput the heaviest vibrations or the longest wavelength on the bottom and the

lightest on the top, and a particular color can be used to represent a chakra inits clear state, as can a particular musical note. Music played in a certain keyvibrates a particular chakra, and we feel a particular way when we hear thatmusic. Our relationship with a certain color says something about ourrelationship with the part of our consciousness that the color represents.

When there is tension in a particular part of the body, this represents a tensionin a particular part of the consciousness, about a particular part of the person'slife. Being aware of these associations helps one to see the importance ofresolving the tense issues in their life.

If it were only a question of doing what is necessary for the person to be happy,that would be reason enough to motivate the person to want to changesomething that doesn't work for them, but here, we see that it is also a matter of

health. The issues that are unresolved in a person's life are, in fact, hazardousto their health.

When we see the correspondences between the consciousness and the body,we see the degree to which we each create our reality. In fact, those words beginto take on a new meaning. We see how everything begins in our consciousnessand we are able to look around us at other aspects of our lives in the same way.

When we see how the body carries out the messages and deepest wishes of theBeing within the body, we can realize that the process can go in more than onedirection. If our consciousness is directing how we develop symptoms, it can alsodirect how we release these same symptoms. If our consciousness can make ourbody ill, our consciousness can make our body well.

The logical conclusion of this process is that anything can be healed.Reiki is a catalyst in the equation. It will increase the rate of yourself healing.

The ability to do Reiki comes immediately to the student upon receiving the

attunement. During the attunement, the ability to channel Reiki comes from theHigher Power, passes through the Reiki Teacher and into the student. Theattunement energy is guided by the Higher Power and makes adjustments withinitself for each student so that each receives exactly what they need in order tobegin channelling Reiki. After the attunement, all that is necessary for thestudent to channel healing energy is to place one's hands on oneself or a clientand the healing energy begins flowing automatically.

It is very hard to describe Reiki. It is as hard as describing the taste of astrawberry to someone who has never eaten one. Once the strawberry is in

your mouth, there needs to be no explanation. Reiki answers all its ownquestions once the experience is felt.

The Reiki Attunement is a process whereby energy is used to infuse new

consciousness into our consciousness, radically altering the energetic pathwaysof our energy/physical body construction. To better understand this process,we have to take a brief look at symbols.

A symbol is something that represents something else. A symbol representsthe consciousness and energetic essence of something else. Everything isenergy; when we assign a symbol to something, through intent we create a linkbetween that something's energy and the symbol's energy, one thusrepresenting the other.

In this infinite universe, there is so much we do not know or understand. It iseasy to understand that there are things in the universe which could benefit us

greatly but we are simply not aware of them. We also have many who watch overus, guiding us, loving us, protecting us and leading us every step of ourevolutionary way. These of much higher consciousness have access to

information, technologies or "things" for want of a better word which we havenever heard of.As a familiar reference, think of lasers. 100 years ago we could not evenconceive of lasers and yet today, you find them in every computer and every carstereo and every CD player. Now we know of them and they are very real anduseful. But 100 years ago, we were clueless about this amazing use of Light.Since we do not have the capacity to understand fully these "Light

Technologies", our only means of using this technology would be through asymbol that represents that "thing", "technology", "event", "initiation"or....whatever.Similarly, there are many things which have great spiritual application which weas humans may not naturally discover for millions of years to come.

These symbols have always been guarded in secrecy and mysticism.

Unfortunately we have lost thousand of these symbols over thousands ofyears, destroyed in sacred temples by raiding parties. Out of greed orwhatever negative emotion, these plunderers destroyed many sacred teachingslike this and they had no idea what they were doing or how far they would impacthumanity into the future.

When a person receives a Reiki attunement, one or more symbols are placed

into their energetic bodies through the chakra centres. In our 3D world thesesymbols are invisible but in our energetic bodies, of higher vibration, theseenergy symbols are as real as a rock would be to us on 3D. These symbols havedirect links to higher consciousness and when placed inside the human aura,they activate into multidimensionality and trigger the activation of this higher

Symbols all have different meanings and functions. In Reiki, the symbols

literally blast open the chakra centres and establishes a link between thechakras and the cosmic life force energy. Most people have small little chakrasthat are choked off, resulting in disease and discomfort. A Reiki attunementopens these centres permanently and begins a flow of divine light/ universal lifeforce through the persons crown centres and it flows throughout the bodyespecially out of the hands, thus instantly creating a powerful hands-on energyhealer, all within minutes.

The Reiki symbols opens these centres wide and links the body energy to thedivine source, thus allowing the Reiki practitioner/healer to flow tons of this lifeforce energy through their hands, never depleting themselves as they channelenergy through their bodies. They never give their own precious life forceenergy but instead become a conduit through which the divine life force can flowunlimited and it always refills and recharges that energy channel.(practitioner)

Since time and space are relative and there are no barriers for energy (sourcelight), such attunements can be done remotely. Just like healing can be doneremotely, (distantly) intent can affect change in energy anywhere across timeand space. Although attunements enable you to access higher levels ofconsciousness (mostly subconscious), there is much more to Reiki than just theattunements. The consciousness shift is tremendous.

After your attunement you will commit to an hour self treatment a day for 21

days. Most individuals continue daily as the transformation keeps youmotivated.

Reiki is guaranteed to bring about changes in your life. The attunement sets inmotion a clearing process which releases old thought patterns and emotions, aswell as clearing the toxins from the body. It is important to understand thatalthough these changes may be temporarily uncomfortable, they are always in

your best interest and will lead to a greater zest for life and a more positiveoutlook.

This is a time for clearing; so please let loved ones know that you mayexperience an emotional rollercoaster for awhile. All our negative that sits in usmust surface and be released. You may have days of anger or hours of cryingor the need to eat or fast or run etc; whatever your body is telling you please

respect and give to it. Do not fight what needs to be released or you may bestuck in a cycle. Release Release Release! This is the level for personal growth. Reiki is a spiritual discipline which mustbe practised as such at this level. After receiving your attunement fundamental changes will occur on all levels,

due to the opening of your chakras. To gain the greatest benefit, regular selftreatments are essential. Without self treatments the change will be minimized.

It sometimes requires several of days before you feel the benefits in other casesits instant and dramatic.

The simple 12 position 1hr treatment is equivalent to 3-4 hrs of sleep; bedtime

is the preferred place. Always do you treatments in a block of an hour and theidea is to place your hands where your chakras are. Do not worry if you fallasleep your hands will still channel the energy : )

Activate Reiki by bringing your awareness to your hands and simply sayactivate Reiki or think it and it will happen.

Remember, however, never to waste your hands during the day. You can neverOver Reiki.

Receiving Reiki is a milestone in a persons life, and from the time of theattunement your life is forever changed. While these changes are fully positive,

the new healer (you) may need something to hold onto as your life becomes very

different from what you have previously known.

The Reiki Precepts can help in this process of accelerated growth and new

beginnings. Meditating upon them is calming and strengthening, and a very

good thing to do during self- healing sessions.

Most learning from Reiki comes from doing healing and letting the energy teach

you the healer. The more you use Reiki, the more it teaches you and the

stronger your healing abilities become.

After an attunement, I am fully sure of your abilities and have clear knowing that

all your work will be positive. Reiki can never do harm and no one can make amistake.

This is perhaps the most important reason of many that I hold Reiki in such high
