NORTHERN TERRITORY OF AUSTRALIA Regulations 1994, No. 12* Regulations under the Adoption of Children Act I, KEITH JOHN AUSTIN ASCHE, the Administrator of the Northern Territory of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Adoption of Children Act. Dated 29 April 1994. K.J.A. AS- Administrator ADOPTION OF CHILDREN REGULATIONS 1. CITATION These Regulations may be cited as the Adoption of Children Regulations. 2. COMMENCEMENT These Regulations shall come into operation on the commencement of the Adoption of Children Act 1994. 3. INTERPRETATION (1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, "adopted person" means a person in respect of whom an order for adoption has been made (whethermade before or after the commencement of the Act) under a law in force in the Territory. (2) A reference in these Regulations to a form by number is a reference to the form so numbered in the Schedule. Notified in the Northern Territory Government Gazette on 3 May 1994.
