FLAG SALUTE- Note: A moment of silence was held for former faculty member George Darragh. I. SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT –

1. January Student of the Month – Brandon Mejia- Mr. Radisch presented the January Student of the Month award to Mr. Brandon Mejia.

2. Calendar 2016-2017: Mr. Teeple outlined the 2016-17 calendar. 3. Calendar 2015-16: Mr. Teeple reported he needed to change the 1516 calendar to

accommodate Take Your Child to Work day. On a recommendation from the superintendent, a motion was made by Mr. Seavey, seconded by Dr. Mayer, and passed that the board approve the change in the 1516 calendar of a single session day AM/Professional day PM on 4/25/16 and a full day of school on 4/28/16. Roll Call Vote: All in Favor. Motion Carried. 4. Goals Update: Mr. Teeple updated the board members on the district goals and

Superintendent Goals. II. STUDENT COUNCIL REPORTS-

Audrey’s Report:

• SAT Prep courses • FBLA states • Holocaust Class went to Washington DC • Career observations – law, architect, event planner • Contest- Video • Honor Roll Breakfast

Julia’s Report (handed in earlier to Mrs. Parry):

• FCCLA has teamed up with Wellness Committee in celebrating YOU. Candy grams are being sold during all lunches to give someone a chance to write a note and send some candy to offer someone the chance to "Celebrate you"!

• The FBLA conference is being held this Thursday and Friday. • National Honor Society is now taking resumes from any junior or senior that would like

to have the chance of being inducted into the Honor Society. • Model UN had a candy sale today with the "international drink of choice" Coca Cola. • To celebrate FCCLA week, FCCLA handed out free chocolate lollipops to share love

around Monmouth. At this time, 5:05 PM, Audrey left the meeting.

D) District Taxes The Board request the amount of district taxes, exclusive of debt service requirements needed to meet the obligations of this Board for the next four weeks in the amount of $ 1,691,876 and that the Borough Councils of Tinton Falls, Eatontown and Shrewsbury Township are hereby requested to place in the hands of the Treasurer of School Moneys the amounts as per the listing in the May 19, 2015 minutes. Appointments Observation Hours: Jen Fields, Brookdale College Student, to perform her 20 observation hours over 15 weeks at Monmouth Regional High School in the area of Early Childhood Development with Carol Samuels as her cooperating teacher effective 2/17/16 to 6/17/16. Observation Hours: Walter Olsen, Brookdale College Student, to perform field placement hours over 15 weeks at Monmouth Regional High School in the area of Latin (World Languages) with Marc Denny as his cooperating teacher effective February 17, 2016 to May 1, 2016. Assistant Coach Girls Track and Field Spring 2016: Jessica Mc Carthy as the girl’s track and field assistant coach for the spring season 2015-2016 at a stipend of Guide 2 Step 2 of the assistant coach’s guide $3,665. This stipend will be paid at the end of the spring sports season. Volunteer Assistant Coach Baseball: John Bernaski as a volunteer assistant coach for the baseball team spring 2016. F. Transportation Jointure Tinton Falls Recreation: A jointure with Tinton Falls Recreation for the drama program at a rate of $42.00 per day for the following dates. All pickups are at Swimming River School at 4:10 PM followed by a stop at the Atchison School and then to Borough Hall at 4:30 PM:

“Executive Session” from which the public is excluded to discuss matters that are confidential or are one of the nine (9) subject matters listed Section 12(b) of the Act; and WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Superintendent and Business Administrator that the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education go into Executive Session on November 3, 2015 at 8:34 PM to discuss matters that are permissible for discussion in Executive Session; and WHEREAS, the length of the Executive Session is estimated to be 39 minutes after which the public meeting of the Board shall reconvene and proceed with business; and WHEREAS, that the Board hereby declares that its discussion of the following subject(s) will be made public at a time when the public’s interest in disclosure is greater than any privacy or governmental interest being protected from disclosure. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education that the Board shall go into Executive Session to discuss the following items:

3. Any change in medication and/or adjustment in dosage must be reported to the Health Office immediately.

4. Monthly meetings with SAC, SRO or Counselor with written report to follow to Superintendent.

Continued outside counseling is recommended.

5. Remain a good citizen of Monmouth Regional High School and the outside community. Repeat of similar incident or failure to follow the terms of the probation will result in the Board of Education conducting another expulsion hearing.
