Project Background

• Plan 2050 recommends expanding active transportation planning as a priority strategy for addressing multiple regional goals

• The Active Transportation Plan (ATP) will clarify the region’s approach to active transportation planning by establishing a shared vision and outlining the steps to achieve that vision

The NJTPA is seeking consultant support to develop a regional ATP. This will include:

• Research best practices

• Outreach and engagement

• Data collection and analysis

• Technical planning assistance for select locations
