The responsibility to provide reliable and quality power supply to the people of Punjab lies on our shoulders and we all are putting continuous efforts to provide uninterrupted power supply. Today the existence of our homes, commercial establishments, industries etc. are fully dependent on power. PSTCL has 171 sub-stations, out of which 5 nos. are 400 KV, 96 nos. are 220 KV and 70 nos. are 132 KV sub-stations and PSTCL is looking after the protection and maintenance of all these sub-stations. Besides this, the maintenance of 34,000 MVA transformer capacity and 12,330 KMs Transmission Lines is being done by PSTCL to provide smooth power supply at every nook and corner of the Punjab state. Our employees in this field are vigilant to provide uninterrupted transmission and quality power during the paddy season and working hard to meet the Load Demand during this season, which reached highest ever on 10.07.17 at 11681 MW. Till date we are able to provide uninterrupted supply due to hard work of employees of PSTCL and I take the opportunity to congratulate all the employees and their family members for their efforts and co-operation. Let us take a pledge to put sincere efforts in making PSTCL, one of India's Best Transmission Organisation which will only be possible if we work hard as a team in a strategic and planned manner with utmost devotion. The Republic Day i.e. 26 January, 2017 was celebrated at th
Officer's Flat, Patiala with great enthusiasm by PSTCL. Flag hoisting Ceremony done by Chief Guest Sh. A. VenuPrasad, IAS, Chairman-cum-Managing Director. Sh. U.K. Panda, Director/F&C, Sh. Niraj Hit Abhilashi Tayal, Director/Admn., and Er. Shashi Prabha, Director / Technical were the Guest of Honors. This was followed by a Cultural programme.
Third Blood Donation camp at P&M Circle Patiala (A blowal)Third Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized by Employees Parmarthi Sewa Society, Ablowal on dated 12.5.2017 at P&M Circle Patiala (Ablowal).
Er. Bhawna Jain, AEE / SLDC now Sr.Xen / TS was the only lady from the donor list who had taken the initiative and donated the blood in spite of being physically handicapped. This should encourage Women participants to take part actively in such social activities.
