DESCRIPTION Located on the edge of the very desirable hamlet of Paul is this superb development site with outline planning permission for three detached houses. Planning permission was passed under Reference: PA18/06389 for the construction of the houses in what is currently a delightful, gently sloping field of a little over 0.5 of an acre. LOCATION The beautiful hamlet of Paul is set around the historic inn and church and surprisingly there is also a well regarded football club. The quiet lanes and footpaths surrounding Paul are ideal for exploring and dog walking and it is just a short walk down the hill to the vaunted coastal village of Mousehole with its sandy beached harbour, cafés, restaurants and primary school. Only about a mile away is the much larger town of Newlyn. Newlyn has a very active harbour and fish market as well as a good selection of shops and a beach overlooking Mounts Bay. Penzance has the widest selection of shops and facilities in west of Cornwall including a full range of schooling, museums, a hospital, supermarket and many well known high street retailers. Newlyn is well known for the Newlyn School of Art and is still regarded as an artists’ hub today with many studios and galleries throughout the town. Between Penzance and Marazion are long sandy beaches which conclude at the tidal foot causeway to St Michael’s Mount. There are many other beaches and coves to explore around the local area as well as the South West Coast Path and many inland walks through beautiful rugged countryside. To the north are the surfing beaches around St Ives, also renowned for its artists community and access to the area is excellent either by road on the A30 expressway which is mostly dual carriageway all the way to the motorway network at Exeter, or via train from Penzance where there is a mainline terminus.
