I hope you all enjoyed the program by Janet and Sallie last month. I was sorry to miss their presentation! I hope you are finding inspiration for your weav- ing and spinning. Last month I encouraged you to note our Spring Season for future inspira- tion. We are also coming up on the due date for our yearly weaving challenge at our June lunch- eon. Janet encouraged you all to use an artist’s painting or creation upon which to base your weaving project. Our tradition is to show and share our projects at our June lunchon. There’s still time for you to put on a warp and weave a towel for our challenge. I look forward to seeing all of your projects and their inspirations. Keep weaving, spinning, dyeing and creating! Kathleen Waln IEHG President Don’t miss our May 8th meeting as IEHG hosts researcher and documentary filmmaker Rosemary Gordon Donnan. Details on Page 4 May is Raffle Month Don’t forget to bring something For the raffle table. We sleep, but the loom of life never stops, and the paern which was weaving when the sun went down is weaving when it comes up in the morning. Henry Ward Beecher
