Reduction of CO2 Emissions - German Presentation

Until 2020

= climate protection: plan BReduction in CO2 emissions up to 40% until 2020Conditions:

- use more renewables( offshore wind farms,

geothermic plants)- more efficient methods in producing electricity- more cogenerations of heat and power- harder laws for conventional electricity producers- top rates in the consumption of electricity

electric – powered devices- limit values for CO2 (emissions) concerning cars

E = ethanol 10 = 10 % In general Europe EU

- introduction of an higher concentration of ethanol in petrol

In Germany- new regulations in our national anti-pollution law concentration of ethanol increased about 5%

The aim: reduction of the dependence of fossil fuels reduction of the carbon dioxide emissions
