Enjoy Your Christmas Holidays!

It was certainly an interesting month! The IMAC Season started and I was able to travel to Shreveport and compete. It was a tremendous amount of fun and I met a lot of great people.

We are also still looking for a new location for a field. We all need to keep our eyes open for possible properties.

We have had some good weather and were able to hold a successful Night Fly and Combat event.

If you get a chance to male one of the area events and visit another club, take advantage of the oportunity and let us hear about it.

Also, if you take some pictures at the field or of anything related to RC PLEASE send them to me. I want to include them in the Newsletter.

Get out and Fly and find us a field!

Meeting ReviewMarch 25, 2014

Meeting Date: March 25, 2015

Meeting was held at Jones Creek Library, on a Wednesday, at 7 pm.

The minutes from last meeeting were read and ac-cepted.

The treasurers report was read and accepted. We have plenty of money in the bank and and renewals are coming in regularly.

Field Committee Report: Ken Hadley reported for Kevin Fountain that the field has been cut. There has also been a few ant hills and crawfish mounds that have been removed. If you see any, please take care of them. The clover has been under pretty good control from the herbicide we spread out in January.

Safety Committee Report: Ken Hadley reported that we have had a close call at the field. It involved a plane that was being flown close to dark. It got to the point that the orientation and location of the plane was hard to determine. Please make sure that you are conscious of the light and make sure that you land before you cant see the plane. If you witness or have any close calls, please bring them up to Ken Hadley or Rich Whitlow. Names are not necessary, we just need to review the situation with the club members so that we can pre-vent future problems.

Membership Committe Report:Badre reported that the membership packets are at the field. He also suggested that we look into ac-cepting Paypal on the website to pay memberships online.

Events Committee Report:Rich Whitlow reported for Steve Blanchard we have scheduled a Family/Picnic Day on April 18th.

Training Committee:Raymond David reported that the training is still progressing.

Website:Rich Whitlow reported for Chuck McDonald that we are putting more stuff on the website, pleas make sure you monitor the site for information. Chuck is having trouble with administrator access. He will continue to work on that.

Old Business:The By-Lay changes that allowed for the separation of teh Secretary and Treasurer position and allow for the moving of the monthly meeting with notice were voted in.

New Business:Raymond David announced that there will be a Boy Scout Camporee on April 25th.Jake Desroches sent a message that the National Aviation day will be held at Highland Road Park on April 25.Talk to Raymond and Jake for further info.
