Monthly PSA From Your LTG
HELLO DIVISION 46 NORTH!
I want to start off by saying THANK YOU! On time
submissions for everything TWO months in a row!
Let's aim for on time all year! Hahaha. I am
definitely proud to serve such an amazing division! I
hope you all are having a wonderful summer
vacation. I also hope you all didn't get sun burned
at the Graffiti Car Parade. In the blazing heat we
were able to raise A LOT of money for PTP and
money for projects for our division! I hope to see
you all at the upcoming DCM! Stay safe, and have
fun!
Sincerely,
Celina Chanthanouvong

Gregori High School and Grace Davis High School
On June 3rd, Grace Davis High School and Gregori High
School had their first summer retreat. Key clubbers gathered at
the Grace Davis Park in the afternoon and brought food along
with them for the potluck. After everyone sat down with their
food and talking amongst themselves, we had our ice breaker.
Key Clubbers went into two separate groups and crossed hands
and tried to untangle themselves, after that they played a story
game involving a tree. Then it was time to get to the agenda.
Key Clubbers discussed upcoming events. Key Clubbers signed
up for the American Graffiti Parade, the garage sale, and the
DCM/ Swim Social. We hope the following summer retreats will
be just as successful as the first one.

Thomas Downey High School
On May 25th members of the Thomas Downey Key Club volunteered
their services in Brenda Athletics’ 3rd annual Healthy Kids Day. This yearly
event encourages children of all ages to get outside and play instead of
spending their time inside. The activities provided ranged from tennis
lessons to swimming to having fun in the bounce houses-things which the
children as well as our members thoroughly enjoyed. For this event we
helped out with the set up/clean up and execution of the games
throughout the day; for example: musical chairs and tag. We also set up
an informational booth to teach the kids and their parents about Key Club
and Kiwanis in order to inspire future volunteers. Many of them also
inquired about the possibility of establishing a Builders Club in the area so
they would be able to get involved sooner!

Graffiti Car Parade
On June 7th Key Clubbers in Division 46 North came
together to sell water bottles at the Graffiti Car Parade.
This was the first time we had actually done this, so
everything was new to us. Together Division 46 North sold
$1763 from water bottle sales! Half of the money raised will
go towards PTP and the other half will go towards
upcoming Division Projects. While selling water bottles the
members got to see cars passing by in the parade and
even got to snap a few pictures of Geroge Lucas. We will
definitely be looking forward to this event next year!

District News
On June 17th Division 46 North had their second DCM of
the year. This DCM was also a swim social. Members listened
to the upcoming events that were going to take place in the
future months. They also were informed with PTP fundraisers
and Fall Rally North Fundraisers. Awards for "Club of the
Month" and "Member of the Month" for the months of April
and May were given out. After the meeting members lined up
to get hot dogs, nachos, and desserts. After eating members
socialized with each other by playing volley ball, swimming, or
sitting by the pool side.
