Reading.

SINCE the issue of the last Edition ol our Catalogue of Hand-made. iMoulcled and

Facing? Bricks in 1903, a demand has arisen for hricks of much rougher texture,

combined with broken colours, and we are pleased to state that we have succeeded

in producing such bricks, which at the present time are being largely used and much

appreciated.

During the last four years a large number of residential and other buildings

have been erected with this reproduction of the '*01d English Brick," a list of some of

which will be found over-leaf.

These bricks are made in three thicknesses, viz., 2in., 2j|in., and 2;:in.

Attention is invited to the Briquettes and their application to Chimney Breasts,

Mre-places, etc., (see sheet 31). They are made in the following sizes and varieties,

viz., {a) 6in. x 3in. x 2in., Even Red Sand face ;(Z>) Gin. x 3in. x IJin., Rough

Texture and Broken Colours ; (c) Gin. x 3in. x 2in., Machine-made Smooth-face.

We still keep m stock most of the patterns shown of our ordinary Red Sand-

faced Moulded and other Bricks, together with Red Rubbers Silver-grey Facings. We also

stock Moulded Bricks to work with the "Old English Bricks."

To prevent mistakes we have divided the Catalogue into TWO Sections, section

1 (sheets 1 to 24) contains all ordinary EVEiN COLOURED SAND-FACED goods, and Section

2 (sheets 25 to 29) contains MOULDED BRICKS of the "Old English" rough texture.

Bricks that are out of stock or of special design can be produced in from four

to six weeks, according to size and pattern.

We also make Rough Texture Roman Tiles to match the "Old English Bricks"

in various thicknesses, lengths, and widths for Quoins, Arches, Keys, Balustrading, etc.

Although this is a Brick Catalogue, we desire to draw your attention to our Hand-

made Roofing Tiles in Mixed Red Colours, Selected Purple, Silver and Grizzle Grey, and

Dun Colour in imitation of old tiles, also the Old-fashioned Pan Tiles and Italian Tiles.
