Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Commercial drop-off closed from noon until 1:00pm. Saturday 7:30am until noon, closed Sunday. Accepts horticultural waste, animal carcasses and food waste only. Call 292-7454 or 292-1517 for enquiries. TYNES BAY PUBLIC DROP-OFF: Palmetto Road, Devonshire. Weekdays from 9:00am until 6:00pm Saturdays from 7:00am until 7:00pm Sundays from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Holidays from 9:00am until noon Closed on Christmas Day. This is a free waste disposal service available to the drivers of private cars and LP vehicles, accepting all household waste, small metal waste, wooden items, recyclables, electronic waste, waste paint, used motor oil, fluorescent tubes, CFLs and batteries. THE WEST END: All areas of Sandys, Southampton, Warwick and Paget parishes and the following areas of Devonshire: Tee Street and Kent Avenue.

THE EAST END: All areas of St. George’s, Hamilton, Smith’s, Pembroke and Devonshire parishes – not including Tee Street and Kent Avenue.

CHRISTMAS TREES: Remove tinsel, nails and ornaments and place out on your scheduled day. Do not use a tree bag.

EAST END: Collection Day – Wednesday, 20 January 2016 and Wednesday, 18 January 2017WEST END: Collection Day – Wednesday, 27 January 2016 and Wednesday, 25 January 2017

GARBAGE: Store bagged garbage in lidded bins at your residence. Move to curb for collection on scheduled day only. Use only lidded bins or sealed plastic bags. Paper bags and boxes fall apart.

RECYCLING: TAG (Tin, Aluminium, Glass) recycling. Rinse, place in blue recycling bag and put out for collection every other week per calendar. To report missed collections call 501-3023, or email [email protected].

ANIMAL AND HUMAN FAECES: Must not be put in the garbage. Animal waste must be flushed down the toilet or dried out, wrapped in newspaper, placed in a plastic bag and disposed of in the bin at Tynes Bay Drop-Off.

ALL HUMAN WASTE MUST BE FLUSHED DOWN THE TOILET.
