WehaveanimportantrolewithinthecommunitiesofBromsgroveandthesurroundingareasandwearestronglycommittedtoremainingindependent.Theorganisationwascreatedin2004whenitpurchasedtheoriginalstockfromBromsgroveDistrictCouncil.Sincethattimebdhthasbeenveryactiveinbuildingnewhomes,increasingthetotalstockbyover10%inthelast5yearsprovidingmoreaffordablehousingsolutionsforpeopleinneed.

Thebusinessisregisteredasacharityandoperatesonanot-for-profitbasis,butisfirstandforemostacommercialbusiness,albeitonethatfocusesuponsocialoutcomes.

bdhtemploys150peopleandisdedicatedtoprovidingexcellentservicesthroughbeingacommittedlearningorganisation.Mostofourseniorandmiddleleadershavebeendevelopedwithinthebusinessandwehaveamajorcommitmenttoidentifyingtransferableskillswithinouremployeesandcreatingopportunitiesforindividualstogrow.

Salaryis£120,000 (for 2021/22) per annum

Car allowance is at £7,200(6%ofpayfor2021/22)perannum
