Throughout the candidate and onboarding processes, PeopleGuru adds enhancements for more features and better usability.
These new recruitment and onboarding-related features first became available in March of 2019. For a quick overview of what’s new, please take a look at the following sections.
Recruitment: Candidate Experience
Resume and Cover Letter Uploads
Candidates gain upload features for both résumé and cover letter as a PDF or Word® (.docx) file. Uploading a file removes the text area for that section. Repeating an upload replaces the uploaded file.
A new setup option in the screen designer can populate the current date by using a specific default value and a “Read Only” setting. - A date default value of {mm}/{dd}/{yyyy} will populate the current date.
- Using a “Read Only” setting will set the pre-populated value as something that cannot be modified but can be viewed.
Onboarding reviewers can have more options for approval and changes.
After recruitment in onboarding, a reviewer for the onboarding transaction can complete and sign-off on the reviewer portion of an eDocument (I-9 onboarding). Here’s how.
- You can access any onboarding transactions that are assigned to you from the Daily Feed’s Transaction Approvals section, or from the usual Transaction Approvals screen.
- Click on a transaction’s View button to see the details before deciding whether to approve or deny it.
- Continue through the review steps as usual by clicking on Next.
- On the Employment Eligibility step, click on the pencil icon for the I-9 document.
