    Reserve lists

After a competition is completed, EPSO provides the EUInstitutions with a list of successful candidates and their

    CVs in electronic format.

EPSO has no further role exceptestablishing a quota per Institution basedon the needs they expressed prior to the

competition and the number ofsuccessful candidates

    The reserve lists

    constitute a pool of

    potential recruits which

    is valid, for about one

    year

    The validity of

    reserve lists may be

    prolonged by

    EPSO

    Flagging

Institutions check theprofiles of candidateson the reserve list toidentify those whobest match their

    needs

When an Institutionidentifies a candidateof interest it declaresthis by asking EPSOto put a flag against

    the candidate s

name visible to otherinstitutions and the

    candidate

This is the default flag, meaning that the candidate is available for

consideration by any institution with an interest in the list

The candidate already works for an Institution and this Institution is

interested in recruiting him/her. Normally, a candidate cannot remain

blue-flagged by an institution for longer than 90 days

The candidate has attracted the interest of an Institution. This Institution will

schedule an interview in order to better assess whether the candidate matches

the Institution's requirements. Normally, a candidate cannot remain yellow-

flagged for an Institution for longer than 60 days

The Institution that yellow-flagged the candidate has requested an

extension of 30 days in order to complete the final recruitment

    procedure

The candidate is in the process of being recruited by an Institution. Once

recruited, the status (red flag) remains

The laureate is temporarily unavailable for recruitment for the reason(s)

    and date(s) stated

The candidate is no longer available for recruitment. The candidate is not

    available due to special circumstances
