5 Steps to Support the UK Recovery Walk 2010The UK Recovery Walk 2010 will take place in Glasgow, at Glasgow Green on Saturday 25 September.

Can you help us show that recovery is a reality?

SpRead The WoRd

Can you help promote the UK Recovery Walk by placing information on your website or distributing leaflets to services in your local area?

help US ReCRUiT volUnTeeRS

We need around 300 volunteer stewards to manage the walk, support disabled participants and generally help ensure that the event runs smoothly. Volunteer stewards are crucial to ensure the safety of the event and make the day enjoyable for everyone who attends. Could you organise a team of volunteer stewards to help us on the day?

SponSoRShip

A range of opportunities are available for organisations to sponsor the UK Recovery Walk 2010 and packages can be tailor-made to meet your requirements. We are also grateful to organisations and Alcohol and Drug Partnerships willing to fund transport for people to attend the walk.

infoRmaTion STallS

Help us show that recovery can and does happen by hosting an information stall in one of our marquees. For the small fee of £50 you can display information and meet people from across the UK with an interest in recovery.

Goodie baGS

Every person attending the walk will receive a promotional goodie bag filled with information on recovery. Do you have a leaflet, poster or promotional item that we could include in the goodie bags? Items must be small and lightweight (larger items can be displayed at information stalls on the day).

We hope that hundreds of people will join us to put a face on recovery on Saturday 25 September, will you be one of them? For more information please contact the Scottish Drugs Recovery Consortium on 0141 226 1662 or visit WWW.SdRConSoRTiUm.oRG
