discussing which ones are most appropriate and why and come to a final decision.

You could make up your own record label but remember your logo needs to be of

high quality. Remember you need to approach this creatively

Island Records was founded in 1959 in Jamaica and is based in the UK and is now owned by Universal Music Group. Island Records is a record label for various genres of music, but mainly focuses on rock and pop. Here is an example of some artists that have a record label with Island Records:

Columbia RecordsColumbia records was founded in1888, it is the oldest record company. Columbia records is a mass record company. There are loads of artists which are with columbia records, such as Beyonce, Aerosmith, Calvin Harris, David Bowie, Odd Future, Pink Floyd, One Direction, The Vaccines, Rita Ora, The Stone Roses, and many more!

My Record Label

I have come to conclusion that the record label I would use would be Domino. This is due to them being an indie rock record label, which is the music genre I have chosen, and that is it an independent record label. The artists aren’t extremely well known, therefore they only target the audience that are interested in their music. Columbia and Island records focus on a variety of different genres of music and are more of a mass market compared to Domino.
