and bodies subordinated to them. These are the biggest
procurement entities which carry out 28% of the entire

Finance, the training plan has been developed. The
training of contracting authorities has been carried out
online, in groups of 5-7 people. Working groups,
including training, have been created for economic

Procurement Agency of Georgia integrated
and afterwards launched separate module of
electronic procurement for donors’. As of now,
different implementing agencies under the
projects financed by the World Bank
announced around 26 tenders via modified Ge-
GP system with aggregate estimated value of
around US$ 23 Mln

public procurement platform (EKAP) which
may be used as the basis of a certification
system in the future and information related to
contract implementation must be entered into

Work experience certificates are issued and
can be verified through EKAP and
notifications to economic operators are sent by
contracting entities via EKAP.
2- Studies to improve Electronic Public
Procurement Platform (EKAP) will be carried
out to enable electronic submission in
procurement of all goods.
3- Studies on procurement performance
indicators are being carried out and annual
progress reports of PPA provide more detailed
statistics on information related to bids.
